There's a local virus in the Philippines, specifically in some part of Visayas,  that is considered to be an autorun.inf virus [1] that infects the usb sticks and hard drives. Actually this infection was already detected last year but still its infection is still annoying because every time i open a flash drive of my acquiantances, i always see this (imgkulot) sticking on their drives. Actually this virus uses the same trick with RAVMonE and Yahlover in spreading itself. The only difference is imgkulot is written in VBS (visual basic script), which is an open source. Meaning you can see how it works by opening its source code (w/c is imgkulot.vbs) and it runs with the aid of Windows Scripting Host (wscript.exe). What's my status on "pinoy money talk" SEO Contest?

pinoy money talk [1] status. Last February 23, I submitted my entry on pinoy money talk SEO contest. The goal is be positioned after the Pinoy Money Talk .Com on the SERP of Google. Currently, my position on Google.com.ph is currently at page 1 but in other Google.com data centers, I'm on page 2. I'm somewhat satisfied with the result because in spite of doing and submitted it late, but still I reached the top 2 pages of Google.com, this only mean that I know a "little bit" of SEO :). Even if Google is seems to be so unpredictable, still I manage to make my entry reach its position right now. Even if I don't win this pinoy money talk SEO contest, at least I learn more on SEO. I actually conducted several experiments during this SEO contest and I come up with several conclusions which I will post it later here. Well, I'm still hoping, I might win! How I wish that I could get a paid domain and web hosting this year. Actually its part of my 2008 plans. Thank God, I finally got my PayPal account verified. It really needs a little bit patient (which sometimes I lack!). The following are the summary of events, steps and things that I did to make my Paypal account verified:I applied my Paypal account last December 2007. I signed up again for a new free account from Free wb7.com and I setup a free web link submission directory [1]. It's currently under construction but it can already accept link submissions. It's not yet submitted to search engines that's why it is not yet visible over Yahoo, Google and MSN. Later this day or this week, I'll try to finish the final touch of the web directory.Since I'm using a free web hosting account from Freeweb7, the directory has some limitations. It can't send email notifications because the sendmail function of the site is currently by default disabled. Another thing is that it will be hard for me to fully search engine optimized the site because .htaccess and rewrite_mod are disabled for security reasons accordig to Freeweb7. Problems Getting my PayPal

I'm really having trouble getting my money on Paypal . I'm still unverfied because my EON Card is not yet activated, I don't know when. The Unionbank teller told me that it will be activated within 24 hours and i already enrolled to their online banking last week but still my user id is still inaccessible (and it's more than 48 hours after the enrollment). I don't know what's the problem with their system. I tried to withdraw it via xoom.com last Sunday but this morning they refunded it. Transaction can not be completed. Well, i'll just wait until the time comes that I can make use of my EON. I'll update this post when the that time comes. Sigh.. :(
