I've received the following comment from a reader of my blog regarding the service of PLDT DSL, the problem she encountered and some advice from her that that you can do when it happens to you. Try reading this, it might or already happens to you (Thank you mauly for this post):Hey guys. I just wanted to share my experience with PLDT and how to deal with them. I have been dealing with PLDT personnels for almost a year now regarding my DSL connection and plan. I am subscribed to their Professional Plan (Plan 3000). By then, when I applied for it, they offered a speed of up to 5Mbps. Take note - 5 Mbps. After signing up for this plan, about 2 months later, they changed it to Plan 3000 to a speed of up to 3 Mbps. A friend of mine, the friend that I was talking about on my previous posts were given the opportunity to manage the domain of Mr. John Arlo Gilbert [1]. He had given the chance to use the site for any purpose he wants as long as it's not offensive, illegal or will cause any problem on the original author of th domain. He is lucky because he got a chance to own a domain for himself. Even if the name is not his name.Well, the site is using Wordpress version 2.5.1, the latest secure version of Wordpress, a content management systems that allows you to manage the content of your website. He still looking for the appropriate theme for the said website / blog and for the meantime he is using the classic design of wordpress. Recently, I've read an announcement from Globe that they have signed an agreement with Apple to bring iPhone to the Philippines . (Actually, I've read it from PMT: http://www.pinoymoneytalk.com then from Globe's website: http://www1.globe.com.ph/). Actually, there's a lot of iPhone, hacked iPhones in the Philippines that is currently sold and used by "can afford" cellphone lovers out there.I checked also on the site of Smart and search if they have also planning something on Apple's iPhone but I did not find anything. This only means that possibly Globe will be the exclusive network that can be used in original unhacked iPhones. Ever since I got to blogging, I keep on receiving emails about winning a lottery, asking for help on money laundering, seeking for someone to process their money then a big commission and now another email sent to me that my Paypal account is currently flagged to "Limited Access". I actually received this kind of emails for so many times already but I keep on ignoring them. I'm thinking that who will believe this kind of scam. How can I win if I was not able to join a certain lottery. Today, I received another comment from my previous post on removing viruses that uses autorun.inf. Recently, Microsoft drops the deal with the internet company Yahoo . The deal is not successful after several attempt of Microsoft to acquire Yahoo. I have read that Google might be merged to Yahoo! Wow, this will be great and we will not hear any companies like Yicrosoft or MS Yahoo! :D Instead the possible new company names are Gahoo! or GooHoo! (This is not an official statement from them of course, it's just my hunch :D) Aside from Google, Yahoo! also considers other major internet media and advertising such as the Time Warner, Inc's AOL. Got PR3 on Recent PR Update!

Yes, I got PR3 again! Nah, I'm not talking about this blog. I'm referring to my one of my blog on Blogger.com. It has PR0 the other month and when I check it this week, I found out that the pagerank increases to 3. Maybe the reason why it happens is because I disable the display of labels or tags clouds to be displayed on the sidebar of the blog. This only shows that Google hates lot of internal links on your pages. I forgot the article that I have read about this links discussing that you should minimize too much internal links on every page. It is because Google hates large average links per page of sites since this tags or label links are considered to be spam by Google.Wee... and Smorty started to give me another PPP opportunity but I'm not accepting it yet since opportunities given are not related to my blogs. Setup Canon PixMa iP1880 in OpenSuse / Linux

Today, I successfully configured the printer Canon PixMa IP1880 on OpenSuse 10.3 system. I setup the said printer to  OpenSuse because I want to share it to 50 computers attached to this server. I tried to install it using the YAST and select from the list of printer drivers but it does not work so I tried to look for drivers over the internet and find it on Canon's website. Here's the following steps I have done to configure properly the printer to work on OpenSuse 10.3 (the source of this instruction is from the guide provided by Canon).First, I downloaded the printer driver in RPM. I downloaded two RPM: cnijfilter-ip1800series-2.70-1.i386.rpm and cnijfilter-common-2.70-1.i386.rpm.These two RPM requires GTK & libxml to be used properly, so you need to install it through YAST. Yesterday, I have encountered two cases of severe computer virus infection on two computers. I can't remove it manually and even with the aid of virus removal tools and anti-virus programs. So I decided to reformat the PC and reinstall everything. The reason is the virus was invited or installed with the consent of the user. Why? The users of this PCs downloaded and installed a cracked anti-virus program. I don't know why did he tried to do this. Maybe he can't afford to buy the license one. Problem with Wordpress 2.5

I currently updated my Wordpress blog in Freeweb7.com because I have read that the previous versions of Wordpress has some security issues and Technorati marked this sites as non-indexable because of this vulnerabilities. The problem that I encountered is when I log-in the site admin the page redirects to a blank page. I don't know if this problem is on my web hosts or on wordpress (by the way I'm using a free web hosting site with safemode on). Another problem is when I created a new post the page also redirects to a blank page. This happens when wordpress started to autosave the current posts I will try to find for solution for this kind of problem and if I can't, well I'll give up with this one blog and try to start a new blog. Today, I have just received the Google Adsense Personal Identifcation Number (PIN). It was mailed to me by Google Adsense Support directly from US. Actually, I was expecting this PIN last month so that I can complete the "enable payment" steps of Google Adsense. This only means that when my earning in Google reaches $100, I can request for the payment for this through WU Quick Cash. I hope I can reach to that earning :D. But I think it will be very difficulty for me to reach it because I still don't have my own paid domain and the Google Ads here is 50/50. Well, it's ok at least this is a good start for me on making money through Google's ad programs. Thank you for I.PH and Google as well (even G drops my PR). For those who have there own site and wishes to monetize it or you already monetizing it, please read the new policy of Google on placing adsense on your site. Knowing this policy will avoid future "DROPS" or "BAN" stat of Google. :D

In my search for the answer on the recent PR drop of my blog, I found out that I'm not the only one who suffer this kind of PR drop. Almost all bloggers around the world suffer this certain change. The cause of this is that Google penalizes those who were found out to be accepting paid links or who violates the golden Google rules! What will be the lost that I could have if I will be forever PR0. Well, no more good ad opportunities from blog advertising networks and advertisers who are very dependent to PRs.
