Schilling To Remain Out For a While
2007-07-05 02:30:00
The Boston Red Sox will return after the All-Star Break without SP Curt Schilling in the starting rotation.  Schilling still has some work to do before he's fully healthy to return.  The Sox will keep Kason Gabbard in the rotation to fill Schilling's spot for the time being.  In 15 starts this season, Curt is 6-4 with an ERA of 4.20. For more information, visit ESPN Hurry Back Curt!  The team needs Schilling's veteran leadership down the stretch and along with Beckett and Dice-K, the Sox have a very strong big 3 when healthy.  Then again, what really is the rush?  We have a 12 game lead over the Yanks and the Blue Jays are double-digits back as well.  Division race should be over.  Lets go Sox!!

Mrs. Arod Drops F-Bomb
2007-07-02 19:46:00
The wife of Alex Rodriguez made headlines again today for wearing an obscene shirt with the words F*** You clearly written on it.  Mrs. Arod had been in the headlines earlier this year when Arod was caught cheating on her.  For more information read the New York Post Article Well it appears Mrs. Arod can no longer handle all the pressure that Arod has brought her in the city of New York.  This could be dedicated at the public, the media, Arod, or just the world in general.  Who knows.  Maybe she has just gone crazy.  I wonder if Arod gave her that shirt on Mother's Day.  She is so fond of wearing it in the public with her child in her arms.  Maybe this will turn into the Bensons and the Yanks will have to get rid of them.  Hah, I wish that was the case.  But I do believe Arod and his dumb wife will opt out after the 07 season and hopefully they'll be out of our lives for ever. Good luck on the West Coast you 2! P.S....

For the complete all-star rosters for 2007 click on  he following: AL NL I'm disappointed that Lo Duca didn't make it and I'm also surprised Maine was not chosen.  However, I am excited to see the NL starters once dominated by the Mets with 3 starting the game. The Red Sox are well represented but they may deserve more.  Kevin "YOOK" Youkilis des...

ESPY'S: Vote for Endy's Catch
2007-06-30 20:59:00
Endy Chavez's 2006 NLCS game 7 catch is nominated for the 2007 ESPY's award for Best Play. To vote for the catch and all the other ESPY Awards click HERE Endy's catch was unbelievable and the greatest catch I ever saw.  I'm still so disappointed and shocked that the Mets didn't go on to win that game.  However, that catch will still be remembered as one of the greatest clutch catches of all time.  Great job Endy! You deserve the vote!

Power Rankings: Sox #1 Mets #5
2007-06-30 04:32:00
In ESPN's latest power rankings as of today, the Red Sox remain as the best team in baseball.  After a solid week, the Mets jumped to #5.  The Yankees, by the way, have fallen all the way to 18th.  They are behind teams that include the Cubs and the Marlins.  Ouch!  COMPLETE POWER RANKINGS: JUNE 29 The Sox are plain and simple the BEST team in baseball as acknowledged here.  The Mets are probably sufficiently placed @ #5.  Their still one of the best teams in baseball and they're starting to come around.  I still, however, am fairly confident that the Mets are better than the Padres.  As far as the Yankees are concerned, enjoy it.  They're awful on the road but pretty good at home.  I'm fairly confident the Sox have locked up the AL East, but the Wild Card is still up for grabs.  Lets go Indians!
