If you haven’t notice by now - this month we will see alot of fashion Dassler/Van Slobbe Collection coming out from PUMA. For those who like the European low cut fit (like myself) the Korbbal are too dope! The above image is the original design, all in leather with the Dassler original cat along the midsole. The new design which was launched has a extremely nice detailing on the leather. Here are some images their available in 2 color ways black/brown The price check on these is around 300$ USD.

Van Slobbe Boxstiefel

The Dassler collection by Van Slobbe is picking up it’s game for the winter season by introducing the Van Slobbe Boxstiefel boots for women in 2007. As far as I know they are only available in black/dark brown (although I only have the dark brown images). Their somewhat similar to the Nuala Khaci except the style is much more European and the price is much less than the Nuala Khaci. The Van Slobbe Boxstiefel run up to around 230$ USD.

Again, paying homage to a misspent childhood spent on the lino popping and locking to the sounds of Hashim (ask ‘yer big brother), this is the second part of the CT x PUMA Clyde trilogy, with the final chapter due in March ‘07. Again, this one?s dedicated to the b-boys in the house, with this classic b-boy combination of grey and burgundy limited to just 300 pairs worldwide. The materials and attention to detail are as fine-tuned as you?d expect from a Crooked/PUMA collaboration. GOODS - Seattle and ALIFE NYC are the only stores in the states that will have them, with only 12 pairs per store. They drop January 20th.

The Khaci is a lightweight and flexible boot with leather overlays and folding for an elegant yet casual look with maximum comfort. And we all know with comfort comes quality hence $$$ - that’s right they run up for almost 400$ but for the ladies who love to style and profile, the Nuala Khaci are toooo beautiful. They come in 2 colorways, brown/black. Also I found this Nuala ballet top for 100 ? to go great with those boots, all your missing is some nice Japanese denim and you’re set to rep yourself for the winter time ladies

The idealists and true fighter, the Styler and Underdogs those around which PUMA often strove were. It was the time in which souped up V8 Streetfighters in the USA that an own race series emerged and became in the 60’s most important national race series. A man connected inseparable with this series is Richard Petty, hence PUMA “RP-43″. Until today, Petty holds the most important records in Nascar. One of the first Racing Performance shoes were produced in the 70’s for Petty by PUMA. Now PUMA has reissued the RP-43 - the nascar boot’s colorway matched Petty’s tri-color racing car also at the top of the Nascar boot there’s a Petty embroidery along with the sponsors of @ that time. The boot is made of smooth leather and the sole is skid-proof rubber sole! The boot is also available in black & white but those colors aren’t that great. This is too funny!!! (funny in a bad way). By now we all know there was a feud between the 2 brother Adi (Adidas ) & Rudi (PUMA) Dassler and during the World Cup 06 in Germany the media & even NIKE spoke about this rivalery. The biggest question was “Who was going to dominate the World Cup 06″ - by far it was PUMA and with Italy wining the World Cup it just boosted sales to another level. So back to the media! Everyone was talking about this but I have never seen any report like this one here by an American morning talk show titled “Today”, it’s filled with rubbish and manipulated formal elements that totally discount your competence to use your own judgement! Not only that, but the hosts & reporter are clueless on the PUMA/Adidas feud, just analyze the female host’s body language and her emphasise on certain words! Over kill & PUMA hooked up to celebrate The Bodé Tribute. For the event, they invited the son (Mark Bodé) of Vaughn Bodé (R.I.P.) and created with him and other graffiti artists some custom sneakers and an art show. The outcome shows some really special sneakers, most of which feature some characteristic elements of Bodé himself. The sneakers are now for sale at Overkill . Check out some of them after the jump. PUMA Tempo - reissued with Flava!!!

Reis sued with some FLAVA!!! The Original PUMA Tempo are in leather and most in a darker color and with PUMA relauching these with Flava just ads character to the 70’s retro sneaker. From what I know it’s only 2 pairs - both in suede and in 2 different colors. I really like the color flow here, the mix of dark & bright colors on the Tempos looks too fresh!!! The colorways are, Dark Brown with a contrasting Pistachio color and the other pair is Black with a touch of bright Orange also the outsole are too fresh creating a nice contrast. It’s possible you’ll find these sneakers in N. America but the majority were sold in EU & JP.

The low cut version of the HESSELBERG ROCK - still a very bad ass vintage styled shoe, I see the people in their mid 30’s rocking these! The chrome pair is just too killa!!!! The only difference between these and the HESSELBERG ROCK is the stitching on the site which I kinda dig on the Chrome & White shoe and the Dassler tag on the side.

Uhmm - from what I know and I tried to research this shoe as much as I could, it’s a mix of golf/moto shoe. Im not sure how I feel about the opening slice toe. I think the concept is somewhat cool but I don’t think I would wear them. It’s of course a Tokyo release and available @ ScWorld.

OMG I am exhausted!!!! Today was my shoot for my short film titled “The End”, (shot on 16mm) which is about deconstructing the traditional emotions associated with death and my lead character is a woman who has been psychologically unstable since birth and decides to take it to “THE END” at the same time I criticize religion on how it does or does not fit in a person’s life under these circumstances!!! So, I been working really hard setting up for this short film inwhich it’s going to be featured @ IFCO Galla Film Festival in Ottawa, Canada. A Liam Show : is the best example of American pop culture brainwashed through MTV pop junk and manipulated by YouTube (of “yah you can actually be an ONLINE film director”), this what happens when consumers are allowed to use camcorders! Liam Sullivan is a comedian that makes short little clips of just random things played by silly characters. Ohhh yah!!! There are new PUMA freaks on the block with a mix of ass whopping skills! NINJAS LOVE PUMAS is a video podcast website started by 2 NINJA & PUMA freaks - their short clips are targeted for younger audiences, I would say high school & college students. It’s really nice to see more and more people expressing their PUMA Lifestyle - when PUMATALK was launched I knew (through market research) there was a huge demand and PUMATALK supplied that demand. Dassler: HESSELBERG ROCK!!!

I’m totally loving Dassler’s “BAD ASS” look!!! This sneaker is an homage to the 70’s & 80’s punk music & missfits bad asses in society. The Hesse lberg Rock are to be launched in S/S 07 however only a couple of Tokyo shops are stocking them. They are available in 2 colors (Black/White) and in 2 different designs. The boots are nice and hi with mad hole to lace’em tight and one of the designs has a band on the tongue to represent the time in society when these kids used to tape their sneakers when they were falling apart! Hello PUMA & PUMA Lovers, Straight up - we need to start seeing some ORIGINAL sneaker & boot designs!!! So here are 4 shoes we thought would contribute to PUMA’s vision on concept…. as we all know PUMA is known for their sneaker style to push fashion boundries and I believe these 4 shoes are perfect!!! So here they are - I’ll also explain how these shoes would fit the market and sell well. EXTREMELY beautiful design!!!! I would call this shoe the PUMA BEE which is made for speed and for track racing. The shoe design is similar to the PUMA H-Street (which sold very well), therefor it’s important to keep a similar style to the H-Street. The cool thing here is the shoe is surrounded by a honeycomb which is made of a carbon fiber simply to create the contrast and at the back we have the PUMA cat on a full sold carbon fiber honeycomb.
