Shooto has announced some fights for the 2nd Tradition event, this is to celebrate their 20th anniversary and they put on some very good fights in the first event. For this, the ticket prices are cheaper, but the fights announced look interesting. Pancrase is holding 2 events in 1 week. The Osaka event is happening this Sunday then next Sunday we will have the Shining Tour in Korakuen Hall . I am not sure who "Junior " is, but the Pancrase site lists him with a 9-0 record, he is a Chute Boxe fighter and his fight with Izuru Takeuchi should be a good one. Sengoku Holding a Lightweight Tournament?

SportsNavi has an article today on the plans to hold a Lightweight tournament on August 23. From the article it looks like it will be a 8-man 1-day tournament. The winner will fight Takanori Gomi for the Sengoku title. I would have liked to see Gomi in the tournament, but guess he has way too much influence for that.WVR has already made space for Satoru Kitaoka and Eiji Mitsuoka in this PLANNED tournament.It was also announced that Takanori Gomi will fight in the August 23 event.For Sengoku III, they have announced the fight between Travis Wiuff and Kazuyuki Fujita.

Cage Force have announced 2 fights on their June 22 card. These are always very entertaining, even though the Cage Force 06 had some problems in the weeks before the event. I hope they dont have the same problems this time and the fights announced are looking really good.Some interesting things about these fighters... Tatsu Suzuki, a new addition to the tournament, fought and won against Daichi Fujiwara in Cage Force 06. He was never really threatened in this fight and I am sure he won a few fans. Sorry for the slow updates the last week... I have had a busy week at work and tomorrow I am leaving for Norway for 2 weeks. That does not mean that I wont update while in Norway though, it might actually get me more time...One thing that will definitely be updated before the end of the weekend is the DREAM pictures.
