Definetely Buying Hatton vs Mayweather

Im obviously buying Hatton vs Mayweather . Its one of the best fights of the year, if not the best. There will be two scenarios for this fight. The first is the most likely and that is if Floyd fights from the outside he will score a wide UD, or possibly late stoppage. Remember Floyd is the naturally bigger man, Ricky is going up in weight to fight him.Second, if Floyd loses his game plan something that he has not done throughout his entire career, then it could be all over for him early. Hatton is a strong body buncher. And he could brawl his way to a KO. Although this is unlikely there is still a chance of this happening.Overall its been a fantastic 2007 for boxing with numerous great fights and the best fighters facing eachother. It is possibly the year that has revived the sport and made it big again.As for Picking a winner, im on the fence for this fight because i know it could go both ways. Calzaghe's destruction of Mikkel Kessler was simply unbelievable. What a fighter, the best fighter in the world at the moment without a doubt. I think we need to be thinking for higher terms when thinking about Joe Calzgahe. And that is, he simply is one of the greatest fighters of all time. Many peopl will say he is not, but that is simply because he is not an American.Going off records and how long he has held his titles for the can be no question about his greatness. His legacy and everything that goes with it. A truly special fighter. He is easily the pound for pound number 1 fighter in the world, even if Floyd beats 100 big names. What a spectacle the Tarver vs Green fight will be, especially after on video. The upcoming fight is going to be a blockbuster with ppv sales and will be sold on boxing video nearly straight after. Why? Well simply. Danny Green is going to cause Tarvers first knock out loss within 8 rounds. Well saying within that time period of the fight really isn't giving that much away. But straight from the first round bell Danny is going to pressure Tarver and hes going to land something big, thus its going to work. Tarver will be on the canvas rather early and won't be the same, he will be knocked out and the Australian will reach his high goal of boxing status. The boxing video will probably be available to be downloaded from youtube or other sites on the internet.

My top ten boxing videos are very popular with many of you. I judge a boxing video off how hard both fighters fight and how they give it their all. A lot of others think a good boxing video is when two fighters hurt eachother a lot and continue to go hard out until the final 12th round bell goes. Well i don't judge boxing videos like that. In fact i like boxing videos of one sided fights, where a great fighter shows his class against other world title opponent. These are the boxing videos i will like forever and for a long time. A simple cure for boxers who cut easy. MOISTURIZER!!

A lot of boxers cut easy. It seems that they are not taking care of their skin and just accept that they are going to lose some fights due to early cutting. Well its pretty simple how to avoid being stopped early by a doctor for cutting. Apply a lot of moisturizer all the time to your skin, except for the day you are fighting. I would go with Olay. It may sound girly, but it will soften up your skin and make it more moist. Which will inevitably lead to it cutting less. Its pretty simple and i just wonder why some boxers haven't figured this out yet. Are they to old school and won't apply moisturizers or maybe they just don't know. If you asked the top boxers in the world whether they applied moisturizer to minimize the chances of cutting easy, an overwhelming majority would say yes sir, i do.

Many people say Floyd Mayweather junior lacks humility and respect. These assumptions may be true, but we can't deny that he is a character that brings fans to the sport, it doesn't matter whether they want to see him lose or win. In retrospect, a Floyd-hater fan who is brought to the sport because of the mans antics, is just as important to a Floyd-lover fan. Both types of fans bring ratings, wealth and motives for upcoming and new fighters. Whether you like him or not this guy is great for the sport.

James McCline lost the impossible loss?

Okay well how did James Mccline lose to Samuel Peter. He knocked him down in the second and then twice in the 3rd. Here is my points system.Round 1 = Peter 10-9Round 2 = McCline 10-8Round 3 = McCline 10-7round 4 = Peter 10-9round 5 = Peter 10-9round 6 = McCline 10-9round 7 = Peter 10-9round 8 = McCline 10-9round 9 = Peter 10-9round 10= McCline 10-9round 11= Peter 10-9 round 12= Peter 10-9I feel sorry for McCline. he easily won the fight. We could have given him more rounds. It just doesn't make sense. Maybe this is the ugly side of boxing. All scoring boxing rules say that McCline won this fight. And from the live coverage and video replays i have seen,i have to agree.

Over the past week we have discovered some unpredictable facts about boxing. The first is, the presumed iron chinned Samuel Peter has a bad chin. Secondly Tarver is fighting Green again after thinking about ducking it to fight Blades. Thirdly, Pac Man is now challenging Floyd for the number 1 pound for pound rankings spot. Also like a friend of myn pointed out on a forum. We are being constantly misunderstood by the term pound for pound. People think of it as who has had the best wins over the period of time. but its not meant to be like that. Pound for pound is simply putting every fighter in the same weight division and deciding who would win from there. Its interesting, more interesting than the current basis.

Lukas Kone cny is a 29 year old fighter from the Czech Republic. He fights hard but to my judgement he lacks the skills to be at the top. I predict he will be a top five fighter for a year or two and then pan out to be top ten again. He gives it his all and thats all boxing fans can ask around the world. A good entertainer and maybe will soon get some of his own PPV's.

Joel Julio has recently bounced back since his UD loss to Quintana. With wins over Davis, Lucero and Bundrage. Rated highly by many South Americans and he needs to go to the big stage soon. Carlos Manuel Baldomir is Argentina's most popular fighter. Even after a few losses he can say he has fought the best and succeeded at times with wins over Judah and Gatti and losses to Forrest and Mayweather. One of my favourite fighters to see as when he is hot and in some forms he can cause the absolute best some trouble. He has Mayweather in trouble a few times throughout their fight but failed to penetrate his opponents great defence. One of the best technical fighters i have seen of this generation.

Daniel Santo s is a young light middleweight from Puerto Rico. His best wins have been over Zuninga and Magarito. He has constantly held the WBO title and he has a lot of ability. A similar fighter to Cotto as he boasts some vicious body shots which have stopped numerous fights that he has been in. If he develops his combination punching and some varying exchanges he could become a force again in the division. Zaurbek Baysangurov is one of Russia's youngest stars who currently resides in Ukrain and he fights in Germany. He currently holds the WBC interim title and is a fighter to look for in the future. I have only seen one of his fights but he has great hand speed which the opponent can't respond to and he combines this well with continued pressure. This young fighter is destined for bigger and better things, lets hope he goes a long way in the sport.

Travis Simms is a 36 year old fighter from the United States who recently held the WBA title, in which he lost to Alchine. He is ageing and was one of the weakest title holders when he was champion. No future fight has been announced which is commnon with boxers around the world for as little as they fight. I hope he gets a big fight in the future which he could possibly win another belt, he has a great heart and is a gentleman out of the ring.

Ricardo Mayorga is simply getting better with age. I tipped him to knock out Vargas and that was if the fight went ahead. From Nicaragua, Ricardo's biggest win was against Vernon Forrest in which he took the WBC and WBA titles home. He is quick and packs a good right hand. He is at his weakest in exchanges when his opponent fights agressively as his lack of power in exchanges sometimes limits his fighting. Apart from this, he is one of my favourite fighters and i hope his proposed fight with Vargas goes on because im going to be the first to buy it.

Fernando Vargas is currently sick and thats what lead to him calling off his much anticipated bout with Vargas. He has always been gifted, as he showed in early 2000 and 2001 with some big wins when he was the world champion. Howver since then his work ethic and work rate have dropped at times and his lack of preperation has meant he goes into fights under prepared often leading to his loss. After doing all the talking against De La Hoya he was then silenced by loosing the fight by stoppage. Where to from here? There seems very little options available mainly because of Fernando's non determined attitude.

Kassim Ouma is known as "The Dream" from Uganda. He is a five foot eight inches and a young twenty eight year old southpaw. He recently lost a close unanimous decision to Taylor which really impressed me. He showed he was not going to be held down by Taylors tactcics and replied by landind some clean shots. It was close and i agree with the one judge that scored it to Taylor by two rounds and not the ludicrous 10 and 8 which the other judges scored it. Probably one of Africa's best current boxing talents.

Roman Karmazin is a talented 34 year old boxer from Russia. I have not had the chance to watch him live as i have to rely on boxing videos to get all the information i can about his fighting ability. Loosing to Spinks on a mixed decision is no disgrace as the American is a great fighter. Roman's recent victory against Toney was flawless with some beautiful clean shots leading to a 4th round TKO. It is going to be interesting to see who his proposed next fight is, which could set the way for the rest of his career.

Labelled as "The Next Generation" Cory Spinks is exactly that. A Southpaw who has lost to Judah and Taylor. He peaked weirdly to early from my view, at the age of 27. Most fighters in the division peak around 32 which seems uncanny to many around the boxing world. Boxing videos show his ability similar to Floyd to move out of tought spots around the ring. His next fight is yet to be named, he has many fans around the world and lets hope he can get a title shot next, so he can silence his doubters.

Joachim Alcine is the current WBA light middleweight title holder and he lives in the French province from Canada in Quebec. He is 31 and yet to taste defeat. From what i have seen he is the most under rated fighter going around boxing at the moment. Like all the other Canadians who are strong he has multiple fighting styles which proves to much for one dimensional opponents. His upcoming fight against Mosquera should be a real test, but expect him to rack up win number 32.

Their is a romoured fight with De La Hoya in the not to distant future, which he coud easily cause an upset in. Has great handspeed which can trouble the best of opposition and age seems to have no effect on him. "The Viper" could well and truely pull of a few more big names before he calls it curtains.

Would like to see him fight some lesser opposition until he establishes some good wins and then he can have another go at taking Pavlik down.

Berrio is technically correct and Bute just throws massive punches. I feel that he doesn't have enough skill to beat the South American, but i have been wrong before. This next fight is make or break for his career, a win here could get him the biggest names in the world to fight.

Juergen Braehmer is a 29 year old Southpaw from Germany who is 5 foot 11 inches in height. Since loosing a mixed decision to Veit he has been really impressive and improved in bucket loads. He has developed some great defence where he keeps his hands high and manages to still protect his head when involved in exchanges with both hands. Has this ability to drop a fighter with one punch, even when the other fighter is on top. This shows the power the young German has in both hands, his timing is perfect. Expect this guy to win a few belts over the next few years.

Denis Inkin is a 29 year old super middleweight from Russia who currently holds the WBC interim championship belt. He fights Bruer on the 24th of November and he should win this quite comftorably. He is young and has impressed me in his previous fights with his power punching that has led to his 24 knock out wins out of his 31 fights. Could he become a great in the division? Well i feel as if it is unlikely as he is peaking early, at least my predictions say this. If he continues to develop then anything could happen. But for now Inkin is content with being a contender in a strong division.
