Last month Benfica 's coach quit and since then United assistant manager has been linked with the job. Reports are now saying that Benfica will offer Queiroz a four year deal during the summer.I would be pretty disappointed if Queiroz left United, he has played a big part in getting improtant players to the club- Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson. I also think that he would make a good successor to Ferguson when he retires.What do you think, should he leave? if he does who should replace him? Last night Barcelona had a lot of the possession but they were unable to break through our strong defence. The team news for United was that Vidic wasnt fit to play so Hargreaves played at rightback. Scholes started to make his 100th Champion's League cap. Rooney and Van Der Sar were fit to play.We did have a penalty in the first minute which Ronaldo took, i would have put quite a bit of money on Ronaldo scoring, it was lucky that i didnt because he missed it. Ronaldo should have been given another penalty when he was shoved off the ball in the penalty area, but just like Fergie said after the match, you are lucky to get one penalty at the Nou Camp let alone two.Like you would expect Barcelona went on and they had most of the possession but they werent really getting anywhere. I saw an article in the Daily Express this morning and Barcelona player Xavi has urged United star Ronaldo by saying that Ronaldo would be better of in Spain. The first thing that came into my head was why now? Yesterday it looked like we were going to have a strong team to put out but there are two injury worries for today's match and they are both defensive problems.Nemanja Vidic is being treated for a stomach complaint and he didnt even train whilst Wes Brown has a injury problem but i am not quite sure what the problem is, he did train but he trained on his own.Henry looks like he will be ok to play United after coming through a high temperature, so lets hope that Vidic and Brown can recover for tonight. Before the match yesterday we had a chance to go back upto five points ahead of Chelsea, with only three matches remaining.We had a bad record at Ewood Park- 1 win in 7 matches.I thought that we could drop points yesterday, and we did. Throughout the season you couldnt say that the defence was at fault for a goal, but you could yesterday.Santa Cruz gave Blackburn a first half lead when our defence 'fell asleep' and a last minute Tevez goal gave us an equaliser.On monday Chelsea dropped two points at home to Wigan which was extremly fortunate for us because we would have only been one point ahead of Chelsea.Next saturday we play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and if we win then we basically have won the title, Chelsea would have to score tons of goals and United to loose the last two games for them to win it, we all know that Chelsea usually only score one or two goals.Back to the match, 1st Half:We started the match ok, we looked settled and we passed the ball around. Over that last few months it has looked like Wes Brown would be leaving United in the sumer, when his contract runs out. Apparently Brown was refusing to sign a contract because he wanted more money, but it does look like both Manchester United and Wes Brown have come to an agreement.It is being reported that United and Brown have agreed a new four year deal and that Brown has agreed the deal in principle.I think that this is fantastic news, he has done a great job whilst deputising for Neville which will make it a lot harder for Neville to get back into the first team. Our very own Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to break a fans wrist. No, he assault the fan but you could say that one of his volleys did.It happened in the match against Middlesbrough (the one that we drew), Ronaldo hit a volley which flew straight towards the fan. Ferdinand agrees a new deal

You probably already know that last night Chelsea drew 1-1 with Wigan after a late stoppage time goal from Heskey, so we are now back upto five points ahead of Chelsea. I have had many people asking me if Nani is injured or not, well i can tell you that he is injured.Nani currently has a Thigh Muscle Strain but he should return on the 19th April which is the same day as the Blackburn game (saturday 17:15KO).There are 3 other injuries for United:Vidic is still injured with a knee injury, he is expected to return on the 26th April which is the Chelsea match but there have been rumours that he will be fit enough to play in the away game at Blackburn on the 19th April.Fletcher is also out with a knee injury, he will be out for longer and is expected to return on the 11th May which is basically the rest of the season.Saha who is a regular to the injury list has a hamstring injury and we dont have a clue when he will return.That is all of United's current injuries that i know ofMan United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday. Before the match today i was nervous, last season Arsenal did the double over us and earlier on in the season we should have won the match at the Emirates but with an extremly late goal we drew 2-2 with Arsenal. After wednesday's win over Roma we are currently fighting for two trophies but which one is the most important?Would you prefer to retain our title or win the Champion's league?
