2011-05-02 12:00:00
The Premier League title race has been blown wide open after the weekend's Premier League games. Man United lost 1-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday , the previous day everything went Chelsea's way. Chelsea had a massive slice of luck on Saturday against Tottenham Hotspur with key decisions going their way. The officials wrongly allowed both of Chelsea's goals in their 2-1 win over Spurs. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that after this weekend's results, Chelsea now have a 'major chance' of winning the Premier League title. Only two months ago Chelsea were 15 points behind Man United, now after that incredibly lucky win, they are only three points behind the league leaders and both clubs have a goal difference of +38. After the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, Sir Alex Ferguson told Sky Sports: "Obviously, it gives Chelsea a major chance now and that's what happens when you get these decisions.
