Spurs Should Be Embarrased

On friday, I brought you a story about Tottenham reporting ManUtd over Berbatov (don't remember? click here) now Sir Alex has had his say and it is definetly worth reading.United had responded to the comments saying that they would fully cooperate with the Premier League, but what did our gaffer say?A National newspaper (The Sun) had quoted Fergie as saying that he expects to sign Berbatov, which Fergie has denied."I don't know where they got those quotes from, it wasn't from me."It's going to be very embarrassing for Spurs because the complaint appears to be on the basis of a story in a paper." If this is the only thing that Spurs are basing their complaint on, then they will look stupid.Something that has been pointed out to me that I forgot is: Tottenham have recently signed a youngster from Crystal Palace for about 3.5 million pounds less than he is worth and many people believe that they have stolen that player from Palace. But I don't hear them saying anything about that....

Kaizer Chiefs v Manchester United Review

The Second Pre-Season match has ended in a 1-1 draw with the Kaizer Chiefs .Six of the players starting today started in the Champion's League final which just shows that it was a strong line-up put out by Ferguson.Kuszczak was back from injury but unfortunetly Rio Ferdinand had to pull out just before the match with minor back spasms.Rooney almost gave us the lead with just 10 minutes gone but his freekick went flying over the bar.Vidic also had a good chance when his header went wide, if it was on target it would have been a goal.The Kaizer Chiefs went infront with a penalty given away by Gary Neville, Siphiwe Tshabalala slotted it into the back of the net.Before the penalty it has really been one way traffic by United , we didnt have loads of chances but we had most of the possession and looked comfortable.Second half and we definetly had to be a bit more urgent.We got our equaliser in the 59th minute by Chris Eagles, after his header was deflected by Jimmy Tau.Our fitness was a l...

Defender Patrice Evra has been charged with improper conduct today, this is over what happened in the Chelsea match last season at Stamford Bridge.
