Radical Rick
2008-03-13 16:20:00 The other day there was a thread started over on Bikeguide some kid asked what the site was like a few years ago... And then I got thinking about how much has changed over the years with just set ups, how much media there is, how many people ride, etc. Then I got thinking about another thing.. Radical Rick .You know what I am talking about if you have been riding for 5+ years or so, maybe even less than that. But I remember way back when I read BMXplus and I was always super excited to read the next Radical Rick.So today I decided to google the name just to see what came up and sure enough RadicalRick.net was chillen.. Doesn't look like it has been updated since like 2005 but it was fun to just to check out and remember that stuff.I guess I have never really asked this, but in the comments or in the message box maybe some people have some insight on to what they thought of RR and everything.

Sandy Carson Interview
2008-03-07 17:44:00 The first time I met Sandy was at an Etnies demo at Jellystone in Wisconsin, They were filming for the video "Why didn't we do this before? tour." That was one of the craziest days I have experienced, and Sandy has always been a rider I have looked at as influential so it was even craizer to meet the guy. Since then hes always been friendly over E-mail and everything which I am even surprised about. Finally got an interview with him for you. Also after this, go check out Sandy's Website for more pictures!Name: sandy carsonCurrent Location: Austin TX Sponsors: Etnies and T1 Years riding:25 When was your first time you really knew BMX was meant to be your thing? When I was a wee boy,it felt to be doing something different with my life other than football and I could pedal away from trouble makers faster than running. You have been in the game for many years, did you expect to be able to live your life doing it? Definitely not. It was just a mixture of luck and being at the right plac... King Of New York Vs. DC shoes
2008-03-07 04:39:00 The annual King of New York event was founded in the Bronx by Lou Perez in 1995. Lou ran the event every year until he handed over the reigns to me at baby bean Productions in 2006. With first Lou and now baby bean running the show, the event has gotten better and better, year after year.In addition to the amazing athletes and enthusiastic crowds at the heart of the King of New York event, a team of great sponsors helps elevate the King of New York to the kick-ass event that it is. Not long ago, baby bean invited clothing and sneaker giant DC Shoes to join the King of New York event family of sponsors. We thought DC Shoes would be a great fit (no pun intended) but unfortunately, DC Shoes completely ignored our invitation. So it hit us like a ton of bricks when we learned that DC Shoes had stolen the ?King of New York? name and concept for its own event. Adding insult to injury, DC Shoes suggested that the ?King of New York? event was its own creation! Now, Lou and I are all about live... More About: News

Mickey Elias Video
2008-03-01 16:55:00 Mickey is a good friend of mine, hes been riding since before I was. One of my first memories of him was at an old local park (I was 12ish at the time) a older skater freaked out on me and was about to beat my ass, and he just randomly showed up, didn't say anything, and the dude backed down. It was pretty intense. However, Mickey is pretty hardcore, he broke his neck, and walked out of the old local trails, and drove himself to the hospital a few years back... Well about 2 years ago he made a video, and just now has he put it on youtube.. he rides even better than this now and is still one of the coolest most motivating guys I ride with. Enjoy. No Bikes: Four Corners Review
2008-02-27 06:05:00 You know when you and your friends are riding and filming the topic of "we should make a video" has probably come up at some point or another. Most of the time, it is all talk and never happens, then a lot of the time the video doesn't turn out all that good and nothing happens, and then theres what happens with this, the video turns out good and it is all fun and real relaxed.I got the chance to review the No Bikes DVD Four Corners . I am really glad I had a chance to see it, I have been hearing stuff about it through Bikeguide's forum for a while. I was real excited to see Matt Dessons part too since hes a pretty frequent poster on there and his riding is always pretty good. What I was most shocked to find out is that this vide is their 6th video, so they have been getting stuff done for a long time now. This video is real cool too because there is riding in Alaska, Florida, Tiawan, and British Columbia. This means there is a lot of different spots. So here are my notes right below...
