Week 14 Predictions
2007-12-06 15:26:00 Apparently, I have no sixth sense, so rather worry about something I don't have, let me work with what I have :-).1) Chicago vs Washington - RedskinsThe Redskins have had a tough time over the last few days. I still think they are an OK team that plays good defense. I hope they focus on football and get this one at home. Plus, the Bears are not a great road team. They are just 3-3 on the road this year.2) Miami vs Buffalo - BillsThe Bills are playing well, considering what they have on all sides of the football, their head coach Dick Jauron deserves a lot of credit. They play good defense and don't turn the ball over on offense. Above all, they just hang in there in all games. The Dolphins haven't won a game yet, and the way things are going it looks like an 0-16 season for the fish.3) St.Louis vs Cincinnati - BengalsI think the Bengals will win this one. The Bengals will score points and make plays on defense to stop the Rams.4) Dallas vs Detroit - CowboysDetroit is just playing... More About: Predictions , Week

Week 7 Predictions
2007-10-19 20:05:00 OK, last week I was (11-2), so let's get to the topic right away.1) Tennessee vs Houston - Houston.Vince Young is not 100%, more than the injury he doesn't want to talk about it. Well, anytime you don't want to talk about something, then there's something more to talk about.2) Baltimore vs Buffalo - BuffaloCall me crazy here, I think the Bills are going to bounce back from that Monday night debacle.Their defense will be after Kyle Bowler all day. Plus, Baltimore can't score on offense, When you barely beat a 49'er football team that's banged up, you've got a problem.3) Tampa bay vs Detroit - Tampa BayDetroit is not that good, and will commit mistakes on offense. I heard that Roy Williams made some stupid comments like "a 2-year old can run a west coast offense". Well, if you are football player let your play do the talking man, grow up!. Looks like, either I know more about the West Coast Offense than him or he should really have a smart 2-year old, go figure. In my mind, no ... More About: Predictions , Week , Predict

Red Wings
2007-04-27 01:33:00 It looks like this might be the year for the Red Wing s. After losing in the first round the last few years, it is the physical play of the Red Wings that helped them eliminate the Flames. With the way the age less wonder Chris Chelios is playing, I guess he could play forever. The x-factor in the series against the Sharks is big Bert. I think Todd Bertuzzi has fit well with the Wings and he should just get better as the playoff continues. With Chelios, Lidstorm, and Schneider I expect the Wings to play a strong physical game against the Sharks. In addition, I would go with Hasek anyday for big games than Evgeni Nabokov.Prediction - Wings in 7

A-Rod
2007-04-26 23:49:00 It is the Yankees and the media bragging about how great A-Rod is. A-Rod has hit 14 HRs so far.....so what's the big deal? This is still April. A-Rod can hit as many home runs as he wants in the regular season...let's see what he does in October. At the end of the day that's all it matters if you are the highest paid player in Baseball. In spite of all this NY is last in the division behind Tamba Bay.By the way, who's leading the division?Go Sox.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sachin Tendulkar
2007-04-04 04:06:00 I think Ian Chappel has come out a little strong here. Sure, Tendulkar is not the same player he once was, but I guess that happens to everyone. There are just a couple of players in all professional sports who have retired in their prime. Moreover, I think it is hard, even unfair to compare two players, Tendulkar and Lara, of that calibre. What if India had made it to the super-8, no one would be talking about Tendulkar then. First of all Tendulkar is just one member of the team, whatever he does shouldn't be the sole reason for either winning or losing. If it does then it is a shame on the team and not on Tendulkar. I hope Ian Chappel watched West Indies lose to Sri Lanka. I haven't seen many players get stumped facing a fast bowler. I can easily remember the times when people said Lara was a flop, after a few losing seasons. The point is Tendulkar should retire when he wants to. To come out and say that Tendulkar looks like someone who is playing for statistics is absolutely ri... More About: Sachin , Sachin Tendulkar
World Cup Cricket 2007
2007-03-20 03:01:00 The biggest surprise in the world cup so far is Ireland. After a tie with Zimbabwe the Irish beat Pakistan in a convincing way eliminating Pakistan from the world cup. Ireland is definitely no fluke and their bowling is just fantastic. They even gave South Africa a tough time in one of the warm-up games. Also it's hard not to appreciate the passion and support the Irish fans display during the games. More About: Cricket , World Cup , World , Rick , Cricket 2007

2007-03-20 02:54:00 After a disappointing loss to Bangladesh on saturday (03/17), India bounced back to beat Bermuda by 257 runs. If they beat Sri Lanka on 03/23 they'll surely have a place in the super8 and anything can happen after that.http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/wc20 07/content/current/story/286229.html More About: Cricket , World Cup , World , Rick |
