Fedor is a member of Russian team among not solely experienced fightrers but young athletes as well. All of them are proud and ready to represent their country at the championship of such a high level. There are 40 of them in total. By the way Fedor's Red Devil teammate Radmir Gabdullin has earned his right to represent Russia in combat sambo, too. This training took place in VGUFK hall on two sambo mats. White said he's not going to strip Sherk of his lightweight championship because he is fed up with the California Athletic Commission's handling of Sherk's steroids case. Sherk tested positive for the anabolic steroid nandrolone following his successful title defense on July 7 at UFC 73 in Sacramento, Calif., over Hermes Franca. Leada Gore Hartselle is exercising its right to regulate mixed martial arts events in the city. Following an opinion by the state Attorney General that cleared the way for the city to place restrictions on the activity, the City Council has adopted an ordinance aimed at mixed martial arts events, including cage fighting. The new ordinance requires all mixed martial arts participants to be 19 or 18 if they have written parental permission. It also requires promoters of these events to have a general liability insurance policy with coverage of $1 million per participant, as well as an additional $2 million worth of coverage for the promoter. Promoters are required to purchase a business license. All participants in any mixed marital arts event will have to receive medical clearance before and after their fight. After dominating much of his Aug. 25 bout with Heath, Sobral secured a fight-ending anaconda choke in the second round. The accusations Matt made about Barrera being scared were off base. Barrera, what he lacked in skill, he made up for in heart and effort. He wasn?t scared. He ate a ton of shots. He?s new to this, and you have to expect some growing pains in this sport. I think Hughes is taking the fights on this show a little too personally. It should be all about the guys on his team competing and leaving here better fighters, not about his name in the center of the Octagon. He said it on an earlier episode, ?I?m really competitive, and if I can?t win, I won?t play.?
