1 week to go until Vill aplay again and can we beat them? Aston Villa should be more than capable of beating teams such as Ever ton , but having had such a long time since we beat anyone, coul di tplay on the minds of the players and manager?I guess that they would say not. Everything that we hear out of Villa Park is about belief and the buzz that's going around (this is something that i completely believe in by the way!). BUT, we need some wins, and a 3 points against Everton next monday would be a fantastic way to start our last set of games before the end of the season.I am sad to say that yet again here we are towards the end of another season, already planning for next year having conceded that we will amount to very little this season.The foundation is there for Aston Villa. Aston Villa Picked up a point with a 0-0 draw against Live rpool at home yesterday. I've now watched the game twice and liked a number of things about how Villa went about their business.some of the none Aston Villa or Liver pool fans in the pub yesterday were saying it was a boring match. I think that both managers believed that Aston Villa and Liverpool could have played better, And Liverpool are bound to be rather disappointed with a draw after Arsenal came to Villa park only wednesday and took all 3 points. But, a point against Liverpool is a good point and just another tiny step closer to safety this season.I liked the football played by a lot of the Villa team. It just so happens that my best mate is a bluenose! That’s right a supporter of Birmingham City Football Club. It's been a good weekend for sport and due to the luck of quite a bit of time at home right now i was able to catch a number of games on TV during Saturday and Sunday.Manchester United & Middlesbrough drew 2-2, and Chelsea & Spurs drew 3-3.
