Walk Ortiz and pitch to Manny? Apparently that sounded like a good idea to the Angels of Anaheim. Well, I can't promise you that Ortiz wouldn't of won it for us BUT Manny was the one they chose to pitch to and whoops BAD IDEA! That home run was a bomb! Every fan in Red Sox nation knew that was gone as soon as it hit the bat! It was great 2-0 now in the series, and the Yankees are falling fast! Cleveland is a good team though, but will hit that bridge when we get there.

Sox up 1-0, Can Dice-K make it 2?

This should be an interesting one to watch folks. You never know which Dice -K is gonna start for us, the one who shows signs of a future all star or the one who lets up 5 or more runs per inning. Well, I think that he will do just fine tonight. The reason why..well, its because he is pitching against a team that has never seen him before. Also, the Angels are not very patient at the plate, they like to get on base and move the runners alot, therefore making it easier for Dice-K not to get into to much trouble.

Yes they actually won!!! Like Josh Beckett said. Now it is time to relax for these last 2 games and they run the table. It was hard to hear that Buchholz will not be playing anymore this season or in the playoffs. I guess it was probably a smart decision though because we will need him later on so we can repeat after we win it this year! lol

The Red Sox take another victory and move one step closer to the division title. It was nice to see Manny and Youkilis back in the starting lineup, tho it wasnt for long. Good to see them back though. Ortiz continuing to look good and Manny looking like he was never gone when he hit in his 1st a bat. I think this is the Red Sox that we're gonna see in the playoffs and its gonna be alot of fun to watch.

If someone were to ask u who would be the one to steal second this time around and then get the winning run......who would it be? Royce Clayton or whatever his name is?......Jacoby? Coco? Lugo? Its an interesting question....well, its too early to ask. But what its not to early to ask......What pitcher is going to step it up? Who's gonna be the new Derek Lowe? Obviously the most likely canidate would be Josh Beckett. But even he seems to struggle at times. Will Dice surprise some people? What about Okijima? Gagne? Will J.D. Drew come out of the woodwork? Lugo? Will Jacoby and Dustin continue to light it up? These are just a few questions leading up to this postseason. What's ur opinion?

A little breathing room.......good i was getting clostraphobic. lol, well its not alot but it makes me feel a little better, tho i still think we should sit some of our hurt players..Tho i do get mad and say i want them in, I just wanna win the big series. I mean yes i wouldnt mind the division but.....the big one is the only one that counts. I hope Dice-K pitches well for us tonight and I hope that Gagne comes out again and somehow does a good job, cuz we are gonna need his ass to pitch good if we want to do anything in the postseason. Same with Okijima, we need his ass to come back in and pitch, (i know that i said we need to rest players, but not okijima) cuz we cant just expect him to come out after a long layoff and be right on track, we gotta bring him back in the last week at least so he is somewhat comfortable out there. 2 more wins and we're in with the wild card!!! lol, better sweep this series

The Boston Red Sox are just taking it easy for a little while. No need to get ur panties in a bunch. The Red Sox are going to the playoffs, regardless of if with the wild card or as the division leaders. As much as i hate to see the yankees right on our asses and hear all the shit from the bandwagon yankee fans i still see where Francona is going with his moves. I mean..i'd rather see Gagne screw it up now than in the postseason, wouldnt u? Its like the final preseason game in football, we throw some players on the field and see what they do and determine if we should use them in a important role or give them the boot. I agree with Francona to give the players some rest cuz it will all be worth it when we win that World Series again, then everyone is gonna love Terry once again.

Sox cruise to win, Elisbury a key factor once again

It took them a little while, but the Sox came threw, when Youkilis once again got beamed (for the 15th time this season, 4th by the yankees) mr. (my boy) jacoby elisbury comes thru once again!! With some key hits, who would of thought this guy came from the minors?...and Manny who?.....ok, maybe thats going to far, lol but...c'mon u gotta love this guy. The only thing that I dont like about this guy is when people compare him to johnny damon! I mean come on! he's a better player than johhny damon, he's got a better arm than johhny damon and no homo on this one but he's better looking than johnny damon, lol. well anyways i think we got the divison...all we needed was 1 win and we grabbed it. we should of had 2 but shit happens. I'll be at fenway tomorrow watching the two soon to be "hall of famer's" schill and roger. this could be a long game which sucks since i had a test in the AM. I'm hoping that somehow manny plays but...i dont think there is any need to rush him back ...

The Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees will be facing off this weekend in what should be a very exciting matchup. Last time we faced the Yankees we got swept by them in New York and now it is time for us to return the favor. This is where we take away all hopes of the yankees winning the division. This is where the fun begins. Im gonna say the sox take 2 or 3 but i wouldnt be surprised if they swept them but im gonna leave some room for error. What do u guys think?

Like I said, you can never count the Boston Red Sox out! David Ortiz coming up with a clutch home run in the bottom of the ninth inning on Wednesday night! His second of the game. This guy has been red hot as of late. J.D. Drew got a couple walks on the day, he's been looking aight as of late as well. Imagine if J.d. Drew somehow caught fire and helped us win the world series?? yeah, I know its unlikely, but what if he does? That would be great. Though I would still wanna get rid of him at seasons end. I'll be at the finale of the Red Sox/Yankees series, i hope that game is just as good as this one was!

How about those Red Sox? when their down u can never count them out!! They just dont know the words "give up". Im proud to be a sox fan and I think they are still looking very good. I mean, I know that they are sitting alot of their good players but they do need some rest. To answer the question about winning the division tho, its a tough one. I mean yes, i would love to see them win the division but is it worth it? I mean we prob would take the wildcard still if we continue to rest our stars sooo that being said, it probably would be better to continue to sit them even tho we are risking the division. I'm sure if we could only pick one, we would take the world series over the division.

We appreciate the nod, and we're glad we could inspire a Yankee fan to do something creative.
