Its SOOOOO easy to root for the New York Yankees, real men root for the Red Sox. I mean half these people are stupid enough to say.."How many chamionships, how many?" havent been alive to see more than 1 of them, a bunch of bandwagon jumpers as far as I'm concerned. I mean cmon! Its so easy to cheer for the team with the most money and the most championships, why not root for an underdog? Oh yeah, cuz your self esteem is SO LOW that u have to root for a natural winner so that u dont kill yourself! We'll im sorry but we may have a few dead people coming real soon, haha or bandwagon sox fans, which we DO NOT NEED!

The Boston Red Sox win again! They are keeping their lead in the AL East and looking good while at it. I mean yeah, they blew a 10-1 lead last night but today was sharper besides the homer by Matt Stairs off running canadate for the Cy Young, Josh Beckett. Everyones contributing even J.D, Drew. (tho i still want jacoby Ellsbury to play right field) Jacoby Ellsbury going yard again looked sharp once again, he is 8-12 since coming up this time to Boston. I think this lineup is doing a hell of a job keeping this division lead, i like these young kids and i think that their gonna be key in bringing us back the the promise land. Once we get Manny back, we're gonna be a real tought lineup from top to bottom (assuming we sit J.D. Drew, or Tito should be fired!!!) And the pitching?? Well, that looks good from top to bottom, we got some nice starters and a nice bullpen (once again assuming, lol, that Gagne comes back to the way he played for other teams and that Dice-K doesn't decide ...

The Yanks are an everyday threat until we read the point of no return. Let's face it, we all know the Sox love to blow it in the last mile. Until we've got the pennant in hand, we don't have the pennant.Manny's hurt. Ortiz is hurt. We're resting Varitek because Varitek is more hurt than he cares to admit. We're not in top shape, but we can afford to rest some.If the Yanks started winning every day, you better bet Manny would be back on the field. If we thought otherwise, we could entertain this argument. The Yankees have been fighting back to catch up most of the season. They haven't quit, not like the Sox did at around this time last year.Until you ALL can admit the Yanks have quit like the Sox did this time last year, you ALL have to admit the Yanks are still a threat.

We all saw how impressive his no-hitter was last week when Buch holz filled in for Wake, but Wakefield is looking to start this Thursday against the Orioles. Apparently the Sox are afraid of using Buchholz this month because they don't want to wear out his arm.Francona said it's "not very smart" to go against guidelines for young pitchers. Tito was thinking of taking Buchholz out of his no-hitter game if he hit 120 pitches.It's "not very smart," to discard guidelines that have been set for the Red Sox's young pitchers, manager Terry Francona says. Over on my blog, I got the news that the Red Sox FO had pulled off the greatest deal of this century, the trade to obtain Eric Gagne' from the Texas Rangers. I thought that it was a deal that was awful, considering his injury history. It was announced on NESN, that Eric Gagne' is out indefinitely, due to a sore shoulder. What a bomb of a Trade!

As if I haven't been saturated enough listening to WEEI discuss whether or not the Sox should go after Roger Clemens , I'll post it here for discussion. Where's the love? This place is making all the noise of a one armed man clapping!Bob Ryan of the Globe actually wrote about it today. While I agree you can never have too much pitching, why through good money around on a 45 year old divaman. Best pitcher in baseball evah maybe, but this great ERA stuff he's throwing the last few seasons has been in the NL. At some point the arm has to run out of gas, and he'd have to throw against an AL East line up that's been pretty hot. It burns my ass that he sits there and jerks everyone around like this. If he wants to come here, and it's not going to cost a premium, "oh I'll end my career in Boston where it all started" goodness of his heart, then fine; sign him. But I think the front office has better things to spend their money on. Think about it, he could pretty much end ...

I totally forgot to tell y'all I was in NYC all last weekend for all three games, courtesy of Red Sox DestiNations. I wish I had my phone set up to mobile post to here 'cause I would have sent live pics. LOL. It was a good time, especially Fiday night. :)Let me tell you, there are a lot of Yankee haters/Sox fans walking around Manhattan, because as we walked down Lexington to get the train, people were all like, "Go Sox!" as they went past us. One guy even said to me, "Don't let them give you any crap!" Even the Yankee fans in the stadium were cool, because all the ribbing and chanting back and forth was all in good fun. There was a ton of Red there, seriously. You heard all the cheering. I was right at the end of the Lodge boxes and could look right down into the Red Sox bullpen.So, here's the kicker though. No runs for support in this one. Felix Hernandez was great in thisone, I'll admit. I Noticed last year that the sox would struggle whenfacing pitchers that they have never seen before. This youngster wasno exception. 20 years old and making his MLB debut Hernandez wentthrough the Sox order many times. He only let up 1 hit and it waslate in the game to J. D. Drew. Dice didnt do to bad, he just didn'tget any run support. I think the Sox should make a trade forHernandez. That would be awesome!
