Awesome playing by everyone, it'll be sad to see anyone from the 2007 Red Sox go.Lowell said after the game that he just wanted to enjoy the moment and that he's not used to being a free agent, but he's never hid the fact that he loves playing in Boston. I'd rather see more money thrown at Lowell than A-Fraud anyday, let's hope it plays out that way. 2007-10-16 18:44:00 The Red Sox are down but not out. I think that there is no reason to worry because we have Wakefield going tonight and then we have our Ace Josh Beckett going in game 5. I think we can tie this up easily...but after that its gonna get tough. We wont have the option of bringing Beckett back so we'll most likely have to go with Dice-K and Schilling. (this is where Buchholz would of fit in perfectly). We need to get rid of Gagne, bottom line! Lopez too. As our record has shown in the regular season, once the Red Sox get to extra innings and Papelbon comes out of the game, we are screwed. No one after Papelbon can get the job done.

I do think that they may have their toughest match of the post season tonight though when they face Carmona. I think he is better than Sabathia and he will be facing an old Schilling. Hopefully we can pull it out but i think its gonna be a very low scoring game.
