England Cricket Team Got New ODI Captain
2007-06-23 13:20:00 ECB has announced new Captain Name “Paul Collingwood” to lead the England in ODI against West Indies starting from July 1 2007. After the dismissal performance in the World Cup 2007 Michael Vaughan has stepped out from the Role of ODI Captain. The ODI ranking of England is 7th just above West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Kenya. Paul Collingwood has scored 276 and taken six wickets in the World cup 2007 where England has not able to put the good show. With his alrounder ability, both with the bat and bowl he has able to impress England cricket Board and given the chance to lead the England ODI team against the upcoming ODI against West Indies starting from 1st July 2007.
