The 19th anniversary of the tragedy was marked with the annual service at Anfield and was attended by thousands of supporters as well as the management staff and first team squad. Former midfielder Brian Hall and reserve team boss Gary Ablett both gave readings to the congregation in a service which included a minute's silence at 3.06pm and a rousing chorus of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' at the end. During LFC TV's evening of carefully selected programmes, 'Hillsborough' - a powerful new documentary - was aired for the first time at 10pm. Despite facing into the most testing period of the season so far with today's derby with Everton being followed by a triple header with Arsenal, the Liverpool boss has admitted there is already work going on behind the scenes ahead of the new campaign in August. "We have agreements with two young players and one senior player who will be a starting XI player. That deal is already done," he said. "We are also making plans for our pre-season tour and talking to players here about new contracts." 2008-03-27 12:50:00 Alvaro Arbeloa made his debut for Spain when he came on as a second half substitute during a 1-0 win over Italy, while Nabil El Zhar scored on his international bow for Morocco. Arbeloa came on as a 73rd minute substitute for Sergio Ramos in a match which also saw Fernando Torres come through 49 minutes unscathed. Xabi Alonso also got a run out when he came on as a 58th minute replacement for Marcos Da Silva. Pepe Reina was an unused sub. El Zhar, meanwhile, played the second half of Morocco's 4-1 win over Belgium in Brussels, scoring in the 85th minute. In France, Steven Gerrard played the first half of England's 1-0 defeat before making way for his Anfield teammate Peter Crouch.
