Time To Move On
2007-11-17 01:04:00 Hello guys and girls, it’s been a while since I updated the blog and there is good reason. I have decided to pass on the blog to another and that means that I can focus all my attention solely on my football and training. It has been 8 months since I took the helm and created what you see and that is why it pains me to go. I have put my heart and soul into this blog and so walking away was a tough but necessary decision. Why did I decide this? I’ve come to realise that I just didn’t have enough time to maintain the blog all the while having a full-time job and football training. This site would come last, which was not fair on you all. What Now? I’m going to pursue my dreams of playing football in the MLS and who knows, if I get keep honing my skills, I might end up somewhere else. It’s up to God and him alone. I want to thank him for all the people I’ve met through this blog and those of you who I keep in contact with, keep training and practicin... More About: Time , Move

Barca Celebrate Nou Camp 50th
2007-09-25 04:18:00 Marking the 50th anniversary of Barcelona’s home ground, the Nou Camp , Barcelona posted an impressive win to secure three vital points for their pursuit of the La Liga title. Ronaldinho was a no show against Sevilla with an injury, so Lionel Messi took the spotlight instead, scoring both goals for his side giving Barcelona a 2-1 win over their opposition. Unfortunately for Barca and especially Victor Valdez, a clean sheet was not to be part of the game. Sevilla’s goal came late on the stroke of full time with a mix up at the back by the Barca defence. Many Opportunities But No Goal The first half brought with it wave after wave of Barca attack, with opportunities coming thick and fast for Messi and in particular Henry. He had to wait until the second half until he could get a decent chance on goal, with exceptional touch to bring a long ball under control using the outside of his foot and then slotted it past the keeper to find the upright. Now that I think about it, Hen... More About: Celebrate , Arca

Barcelona Takes Charge Against Lyon
2007-09-20 07:40:00 Ronaldinho and his team began their Champions League campaign at home in front of their fans in the Camp Nou, in exciting fashion, posting a respectable 3-0 result against visiting French side, Lyon . The stars of the show were Messi and Henry. Strangely enough, the captaincy changed three times from Ronaldinho, to Xavi and then ... More About: Barcelona , Charge , Char

Imitating Ronaldinho, Good Or Bad?
2007-09-08 04:33:00 The main reason I started this blog back in March was to teach others how to play football like Ronald inho . This meant I would have to create some sort of guide to help footballers visiting this website understand the various secrets and techniques that Ronnie has in his repertoire. I’ve done this with the Be ... More About: Good
Ronaldinho Stars In Barcelona Win
2007-09-03 02:10:00 Barcelona remained undefeated after their match with Athletic Bilbao at the Nou Camp, which played out yesterday. Ronald inho was by far the star of the show with a couple of goals in the bag, both off of set plays. Barcelona came into this match with a draw to start of the season and so they needed to produce results for the fans most of all. Coach Rijkaard did say that Bilbao has always been a hard team to overcome and so it was great to see Barca triumph. As I said before, Ronaldinho came out the main protagonist of the win with two goals and the new recruit Toure Yaya keeps impressing with a thunderous strike late in the game to find the cross bar, hit the ground on what looked like the goal side of the line and the referee concurred to give him the benefit of the doubt. Now whether it crossed the line or not is something you can judge for yourself, with the video I have provided below. Ronaldinho’s Goals Watching Ronaldinho’s free kick in particular shows me the a... More About: Stars , Barcelona
Barcelona Thumps Inter 5-0
2007-09-02 14:50:00 As I write this Barcelona will be taking on Athletic Bilbao in a few short hours, which will be their 2nd official La Liga match this season. Coach Frank Rijkaard has said the following about the opposition: We have suffered down the years to produce a result against them. We will have to be focussed and to work hard to achieve our aim. They are very well organised at the back. Moving on, the other day Barcelona took on Inter Milan to take out the honour of having the Gamper Trophy, I spoke about it in the last post. Barcelona showed their tenacious attacking capabilities against a depleted Inter, who were missing some big names, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who happens to be my second favourite footballer, after Ronaldinho. On that note, the Brazillian scored the first goal of the match with a penalty kick given to him by young Mexican Giovani Dos Santos. You can find that goal and the highlights of the match below: (I’ll be covering the Athletic Bilbao match tomorrow, so hang...
Barcelona Start The Season With One Point
2007-08-27 14:04:00 Barcelona started their La Liga campaign on Sunday with a drawless, yet entertaining match, against Racing Santander away from the Camp Nou. Each team had their fair share of action and opportunities. Barcelona’s pre-season has been nothing short of perfect, with six our of six wins registered they went into this game with self-confidence and ... Diving For That Penalty, Are You Guilty?
2007-08-21 13:24:00 Note: Ronaldinho is currently fulfilling international duties to play with Brazil. I don’t think I’ve ever talked about the art of diving on the football field before, but it’s something that needs to be talked about because it’s always controversial. I don’t care what anyone says, I think it is just outright wrong and gives ... More About: Diving , Guilty , Penalty , Pena
Barcelona Hold Off Bayern Munich
2007-08-18 09:19:00 With a great volley from Lionel Messi, Barca have secured 6 out of 6 wins in the pre-season so far and is just another confidence booster for the team. The fantastic strike came from the Argentinian in the 82nd minute and on a personal note, these kinds of volleys are really the hardest to pull ... Successful Tour For Barcelona
More articles from this author:2007-08-14 12:00:00 Barcelona recently ended their tour of Asia with a 4-0 win against Mission Hill of Hong Kong. The match which was played on Saturday, was originally supposed to be played a few days earlier, however, Hong Kong was hit with Typhoon Pabuk and the match had to be delayed.
