At that time I did not play golf so the visit was purely for the "glamor" experience: to check out the myriad of marquees, dress for dinner, see top entertainers perform, visit the sites and to try my luck at the variety of casinos. The question was, how does the City of Lights, which is an approximate six hour connecting flight from my house compare with Atlantic City, only two-and-a-half hours from New York? Victor Lozano is suing FoxStore, a Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation company, for unauthorized text messages, or "wireless spam," such as "GEAR UP 4 THE HILARIOUS ANIMATED FILM ROBOTS ON DVD @FOXSTORE.COM." "Saru Lock" live-action stars Hayato Ichihara
2009-06-04 06:05:00 Naoki Serizawa's action-comedy manga "Saru Lock" is being turned into a live-action drama on NTV this summer. The show will star young actor Hayato Ichihara (22), who had a major role in the hit drama "ROOKIES."The manga tells the story of Yataro Sarumaru (nicknamed "Saru"), a genius locksmith who can open any lock. Like a typical teenage male, he is obsessed with girls, but despite his brilliance as a locksmith, he is sorely lacking in his skills with the opposite sex. While looking for some love, he uses his lockpicking abilities to take on dangerous cases.Ichihara plays the lead as "Saru." Sei Ashina takes on the heroine role as his childhood friend Ritsuko, an honor student who is always scolding him. Other cast members include Gota Watabe as Saru's accomplice and Sousuke Takaoka as another child friend and police officer.NTV will air the series on Thursday nights at 11:58pm, starting on July 23. Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi ("20th Century Boys") will be in charge of the project, with actor Hiro Mizushima in the leading role.The manga, which was originally serialized from 2000 to 2008, tells the story of five young men who form a rock band called Beck. The protagonist in the manga was the guitarist/vocalist Yukio "Koyuki" Tanaka, but the film will instead revolve around the band's main guitarist and leader, Ryusuke Minami.Mizushima has been cast as Ryusuke, while Takeru Sato will play the part of Koyuki. The two previously played brothers in the drama series "Mei-chan no Shitsuji."
