Michael Bush May Find Chicago Bears Matt Forte Hostile To His Arrival
2012-03-23 04:11:00
Michael Bush left the Oakland Raiders to sign with the Chicago Bears today and for five-years and $14 million, $7 million guaranteed. The reception was, from Oakland Raiders fans, ho-hum, whereasChicago Bears fans were happy. But the person most unhappy with the deal was Chicago Bears star running back Matt Forte, himself. Forte, who’s still (Read More...)
With the 19th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select . . .
2012-02-06 14:57:00
Understanding the immediate needs the Bears have with this current roster, new general manager Phil Emery can go a lot of directions with the 19th overall pick in April’s 2012 NFL draft. Do they go Wide Receiver with the first pick—a position the organization hasn’t taken in the first round since 2001? On the other... Read more »
Chicago Bears' end of year evaluation: Offense
2012-01-07 16:24:00
Quarterback In his second year in Mike Martz’s version of the “Air Coryell offense,” Jay Cutler was taking steps towards the elite class of NFL quarterbacks. He got off to a rocky start in the first half of the season, but when the offense—for the second season in a row—was dialed back, we saw Jay... Read more »

Tim Tebow Strikes Again: Denver Broncos Beat Chicago Bears In OT
2011-12-12 03:32:00
What Tim Tebow – the Denver Broncos Quarterback who Dallas Cowboys’ Owner Jerry Jones once said he “couldn’t get on the field,” prior to the 2010 NFL Draft and the man who may have captured Lindsey Vonn’s heart – is doing is suddenly not funny. Under his leadership, the Broncos have earned six straight wins, (Read More...)
Chicago Bears Huddle stock report

Offense Caleb Hanie Stock: Falling Hanie isn’t doing the defense any favors since taking over for Jay Cutler.  In his only two games this season, Hanie has compiled 2 touchdowns, 6 interceptions,  387 passing yards, and a 40.8 passer rating. It’s the lowest passer rating among active starting QB’s.  You would think that Martz would... Read more »

NFL Preseason Week 2 Game Preview: Chicago Bears @ New York Giants
2011-08-18 09:45:00
Online Betting Overview The second week of the preseason is often used to try and get a good look at second and third-string players that have a chance of making an NFL roster. Teams like to make decisions on fringe players in the second week because they can then release the players and give them a chance to sign on somewhere else. The Chicago Bears looked decent in their preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills, but the offensive line was suspect. The Bills picked up nine sacks on the Bears? offense and held the first-string offense to no points. It is only preseason, but the Bills had one of the worst defenses in the NFL last year. Yes, Buffalo has made some minor improvements to its defensive unit. But the Bears should be trying out a lot of offensive players in this game. Any NFL betting lines on the New York Giants are split into two halves. The Giants excel in the first half of the regular season, but they fall apart in the second half. Unfortunately, one of the reasons t...

Recapping the Entire Chicago Bears 2011 NFL Draft
2011-05-01 02:25:00
No team in the league is more loyal to its draft picks than the Chicago Bears. So the former college football players listed below will get every opportunity and more to make their mark on the squad. Last year's NFL Draft was pretty boring for you- the Chicago Bears fan. No first round pick in 2010 because of the Jay Cutler trade, but this years was a whole lot of fun. Despite having such a successful 2010 season that yielded Chicago picking #29 in the first round, the Bears have plenty of needs: safety, center, wide receiver, and most overwhelmingly of all- OFFENSIVE LINE! Specifically tackle, which they went first. Let's breakdown the Bears picks in all seven rounds...
2011 Chicago Bears Draft About Toughness
2011-04-30 21:57:00
Here is the problem with the NFL Draft: it is televised.  Because it is televised (and for me one of the most singularly boring events in the history of the medium) fans have taken to rampaging against their organization's lower round selections as means of flaming the torches and marching up the castle to kill the beast.  Very few people cheered when Jerry Angelo selected Johnny Knox in the fourth round a year ago because the selection of Knox inspired nothing more than mere interest in his reportedly alarming speed.  What if the selection in 2011 of Idaho's Nathan Enderle - a player targeted by the Vikings - turns out to provide the Bears with the next Kurt Warner?  The...

The 2011 Cubs are the 2010-11 Chicago Bears
2011-03-09 14:30:00
Looking at the new roster and considering the changes within the division, it is not a long stretch to say the Cubs could make the playoffs, but it is an equally "un-long" stretch to say that they will finish third or fourth in their division; hmmmm... this sounds familiar.
Rare Photos: 1985 Chicago Bears
2011-02-28 01:46:00
I know, I know, we've been here before. Some of us are, quite honestly, tired of hearing about the Super Bowl champion 1985 Chicago Bears. Not for lack of love or respect, but for want of a modern day version of that dominating group of pro football hall of famers. It's not easy, and teams like that don't come around every year. Heck, teams like that don't come around twice. Ever. Recently, with the passing of one of the most important pieces on that 1985 team, Dave Duerson, Bears fans have relived some of that glory over in our heads; glory that seems to make the situation all the more tragic. Just prior to Duerson's suicide, ESPN shed some light...

Chicago Bears Fan "Bears All" During a Mid-game Striptease

The Chicago Bears Have Completely Botched Jay Cutler's Injury Situatio
2011-01-24 23:22:00

Green Bay Packers Favored To Beat Chicago Bears In NFC Championship
2011-01-16 22:58:00
Yep. As of now, the Green Bay Packers are favored to beat the Chicago Bears in next Sunday's NFC Championship. That, even though the game's played in snowy Chicago. Odds makers have the Packers giving 3 to the Chicago Bears, which means some think the Pack will win by more than that much. Personally, I can't see that. The Chicago Bears just beat the Seattle Seahawks 35 to 24 in a game which saw the Bears ahead by as much as 27 points and for more most of the game. But a furious Seahawks rally made the final score closer than the game really was. While the Packers blew out the Falcons, it was in perfect indoor conditions for a track meet. I don't think the Packers are going to have the same fortune in the cold at Soldiers Field against a team that knows them, playing for all the marbles. Take the Bears. Plus, you know the Bears are going to be fired up to learn they're the underdog in the game! Stay tuned.

Chicago Bears Game Review: Packers 10, Bears 3

The most important result of the Chicago Bears' 10-3 loss to the Green Bay Packers was that nobody got hurt. Make no mistake. Nothing else mattered. Forget about the Packers making the playoffs, forget about the sacks, forget about Lovie Smith's timeout call.
To Play or Not to Play? Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers

Getty Images From Green Bay Wisconsin to Chicago Illinois, football fans alike can be heard pacing the halls, nervously awaiting the final game of the regular season. For Packers' fans, beating their rival Chicago Bears on Sunday may be the only chance they have at earning the final sixth-seed in the NFC playoffs. This, after much of the media had already dubbed them Super Bowl-bound earlier this spring. The Bears, having already locked up at least the number-two seed in the playoffs, have the dubious task of deciding whether or not to play their starters against Green Bay, or rest-up for the playoffs. And you can bet, Bears' fans have been out in full-force; expressing their opinions as to...
