Jason Garrett ? Dallas Cowboys Coach Did Not Ice The Kicker
2011-12-06 15:49:00
There’s a lot of talk that Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett “iced” his kicker Dan Bailey in Sunday’s game at the Arizona Cardinals, a game the Cards won in overtime. Let’s face it: Coach Garrett made a mistake in calling for a time-out while his kicker was in the process of making what would (Read More...)
Melissa Kellerman ? Twitter Took Cowboys Cheerleader Down By Mistake
2011-11-29 22:50:00
Melissa Kellerman, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader who was tackled by Cowboys Tight End Jason Witten on Thanksgiving Day, is back on Twitter after her account was taken down two days ago. A public outcry, and perhaps someone with either the Cowboys or Twitter (Twitter has suspended accounts mistakenly) realized the error and re-posted the account. (Read More...)
Melissa Kellerman : Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Denied $7,500 By Team
2011-11-27 21:06:00
Melissa Kellerman is a name brand-new to pop culture, but it looks like The Dallas Cowboys aren’t happy about it. Whatever the Cawboys’ thinking is, if it could be called that, it’s resulted in the robbing of a lot of potential cash from the pocket of their Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Melissa Kellerman is the same (Read More...)

What do Ndamukong Suh, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Melissa Kellerman, and Arlene Mossa Corona, the Bikink Dog Girl, all have in common? All were top news stories on Thanksgiving Day. So this blogger figured out a way to combine them in one blog post. The result was the assertion that Ndamukong Suh, the star Defensive Tackle (Read More...)
My hobby: Hating the Dallas Cowboys

In the David Mamet film “State and Main”, Alec Baldwin plays a scummy movie star in his late 40s named Bob Berringer, who reminds himself constantly that “everyone has a hobby”. Trailer Time: Cowboys & Aliens
2011-04-15 05:13:00
The best part about American Idol's results show tonight wasn't the performances (though, to be fair, Casey and Hailey's jazzy duet was the bomb) or the elimination, but rather the 2.5 minute new trailer for this summer's Cowboys & Aliens.  Some of the footage you've seen before, but this gives you a greater sense of the picture's scope and much more Olivia Wilde.  Take a look, and see you on July 29 when it's finally released!...
Photo Tour of Cowboys Stadium, Site of Super Bowl 45
2011-01-25 00:19:00
We finally have the match-up set for the 2010 NFL Championship. The Green Bay Packers will meet the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl 45. They'll battle in Arlington, Texas at Cowboys Stadium a.k.a. "Jerry's World," "The House that Jerry Built," "DeathStar," "Boss Hog Bowl," "Jones Town," and "Jones-Mahal." The $1.2 Billion palace was financed mostly by Jerry Jones himself, although the taxpayers in the city of Arlington picked up a sizable chunk ($325 million). It costs $18 to take the tour that I experienced, and will now summarize here. I was fortunate enough to get this behind the scenes tour as part of the Nike Football Media Summit 2010, a phenomenal event and product rollout taking place on the...

The world's leading sportswear concern unveiled its next generation of Nike Pro Combat uniforms and cleats that top collegiate teams University of Oregon, Boise State University, and University of Florida are expected to wear as they take the field in this season's upcoming bowl games. NFL players Ndamukong Suh (Detroit Lions), Clay Matthews (Green Bay Packers), Dwayne Bowe (Kansas City Chiefs), Felix Jones (Dallas Cowboys) and Steven Jackson (St. Louis Rams) were also on hand at iconic Cowboys Stadium (site of the next Super Bowl) to introduce the Nike Air Zoom Alpha Talon cleat and the 2011 Nike Pro Combat uniforms to several hundred guests...

Bears show us what they're made of vs. Cowboys
2010-09-20 03:44:00
Then Cutler hit Greg Olsen with a 39 yard touchdown reception. That pass changed the course of the game. This drive and play, showed us the coaches were willing to adjust during the game and not waiting until halftime. Lovie Smith has often been criticized in the past for sticking to the game plan and making adjustments when its too late. By making adjustments to the play calling, the Cowboys defense eased off the blitz.

Bears vs Cowboys - Keys to the Game
2010-09-18 06:32:00
The Bears head down to Dallas to match up with the 0-1 Cowboys.  Dallas looked awful in a Week 1 road loss to the Redskins, with costly penalties and turnovers stalling their usually strong offense. Meanwhile, the Bears played a strange game in their Week 1 win over Detroit. They dominated the offensive and defensive stat sheets, but had four costly turnovers.  A non-TD catch late in the game by Calvin Johnson got the Bears off the hook as the Lions seemed to have an upset win in the bag.  What do the Bears need to do to steal a win in Dallas?  Check out the gallery for my Keys to the Game:...
Bears look to make a statement against the Cowboys
2010-09-17 15:35:00
The Bears take their number one ranked offense and second ranked defense into Dallas on Sunday against the Cowboys. Originally, I had the Bears losing this game based on the last two times the Bears played the Cowboys. In both games the Bears were outclassed. The Bears go into the game as 9 point underdogs. Talk about disrespect.
Bears at Cowboys Game Preview
2010-09-17 06:01:00
Ah, the 2-0 start.  So elusive, like the mongoose that scavenges your camp site at night.  Lovie Smith has only had one team start 2-0 and that team went to a Super Bowl.  Is Sunday's game at Cowboys Stadium that important?  To quote Ricky Roma in Glengarry Glen Ross, "It may mean something to you, it may not.  I don't know.  I don't know anymore."  YOUR OFFENSIVELY RESURGENT 2010 CHICAGO BEARSOVERDallas CowboysWhy do I like the Chicago Bears this week?I always like the Chicago Bears.I think, for the first time in a long time, the Bears have the offensive pieces in place to counter a steady diet of opposing pass rush.  Martz will utilize both backs and his band of...
Breaking Down the Dallas Cowboys
2010-09-16 03:30:00
Just spent the last couple hours watching the Cowboys' opening game against the Redskins - a game I all-but missed Sunday night due to an overzealous Sunday afternoon.  It stunk but here are my thoughts on this Sunday's opponent.OffenseAccording to Wednesday's injury report, Cowboys offensive linemen Marc Colombo and Kyle Kosier participated fully in practice on Wednesday.  We have to assume the disaster of a line - they were far worse than our line - will be greatly improved by the return of two starters.Because of the limited ability their offensive line, the Boys relied almost exclusively on quick-tosses to their wide receivers: Austin, Bryant and Williams.  The Redskins were able to limit their offensive progress by tackling well on...

Professional Rodeos are alot like Professional Hockey Leagues in that there are many different associations and divisions. The Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association to Rodeo is what the National Hockey League is to Hockey, the Best of the Best.  The PRCA is the oldest and largest sanctioning body for Pro Rodeo Cowboys. In 1975 the PRCA evolved from the Rodeo Cowboys Association which in turn had evolved from the Cowboys Turtle Association. The CTA was the first governing body established to protect the rights of the professional cowboy in 1936. The PRCA governs about one third of all professional rodeos staged here in the United States. Cowboys and Cowgirls of all ages can compete at all levels including Junior, High...

So last night after the premiere of Project Runway Season 8....Heidi's Bangs, we got a special new treat instead of a rerun of Army Wives. Moments of Silence, I Predict & How 'Bout Those Cowboys
2009-12-20 18:30:00
I'm spraying to all fields as I sit down just before NFL Sunday's first kickoff just before noon. All NFL games will have a moment of silence for the Bengals Chris Henry today.  In my opinion, unless he was on your fantasy team, and healthy, Chris Henry wasn't worth much.  The wide receiver had had nothing but problems during his pro career, including driving under the influence and assault.  He allegedly had turned his life around.  He and his girlfriend were taking care of their three children and working on wedding plans.  Apparently, an argument broke out and his fiance drove off in a pick-up truck with the shirtless Henry, with his arm still in a sling, in the back of...

I bet I can name more cowboys than I can presidents.
2009-03-02 18:50:00
A while back, I wrote a story about some cowboys wandering around in the desert, getting more and more lost and more and more confused and upset. I submitted it to a bunch of places before one finally published it; most of the rest responded with something like "cowboys?" followed by a snorting sound and a rolling of the eyes. And it's hard to get a snorting sound and eye-roll into a letter or email. (Trust me; I know.) That's a shame, because it was a good story -- and also because cowboys and westerns and western wear are a part of America; the "Wild West" and cowboys and cattle rustlers and Buffalo Bill and the OK Corral and sarsaparilla and more, all part of our national consciousness that's slowly fading away from popular view. Why, it's been nearly three decades since "Urban Cowboy" and "Young Guns" came out, and nowadays, when you see people driving a herd of cattle, it's likely that the "people" are "Australians." That's why I'm glad that a place like Cavender's ...

DALLAS COWBOYS TERRELL OWENS, JASON WITTEN, TONY ROMO PREPARE TO PLAY NREW YORK GIANTS - New York Post: ?It looks like the Giantsare catching the Cowboys at just the right time, with America's Team about to implode. One day after Terrell Owens spoiled the holiday mood by saying quarterback Tony Romo was playing favorites with tight end Jason Witten, another starting player told ESPN's Ed Werder, "We are not together as a team, and that includes the coaches."Owens claims Romo and Witten, who are friends and road roommates, conspire to draw up passing plays that exclude the wide receiver. The perception was denied throughout the organization, but it was revealed other wide receivers had spoken to offensive coordinator Jason Garrett about their roles in the offense.?

Giants Handle Cowboys-almost have clear shot at division title
2008-11-06 05:27:00
Giants Handle Cowboys-almost have clear shot at division titleBy Dr. Bill Chachkes-Managing Partner Football Reporters Online The New York Giants could have had the collapse of the decade. They could have fell apart. They could have played down to their competition as they did against the Browns, Bengals, and countless other teams over the years. Instead they came out and played ?their game? against Dallas yesterday in the meadowlands. They established the run early, and although they had a few turnovers, and a few penalties more then normal, but in the end they finished the game up on the Cowboys by 21 points. They also moved to a 7-1 record, a half game ahead of all other challengers thus far in the NFC. The Giants formula for success thus far has been a continuation of what they did late last season. Play solid defense, and establish the running game to open up the passing lanes. It doesn?t hurt that the kicking game has been so good over the last few years, with Jeff Feagles...
Cowboys Overcome Shaky QB, Beat Bucs 13 - 9

HBO's Hard Knocks to Feature the Dallas Cowboys

I Guess HBO is trying to keep the show fresh and innovative. That's nice, but could you pick a better team to showcase then the Cowgirls-i-mean-boys? How about some team who is on their way back up, Like the Redskins, or the Vikings, or even the Saints. Any team but the Cowboys and their attention seeking receiver Terrell Owens, who reminds us not to Pick on Tony Romo because he's is "His QB." Let me know when Tony gets a National Commercial spot. Even Brady Quinn of the Browns(and he's still a Back-up!) has an EAS-Myoplex commercial!! Is Wade Phillips even "Telegenic" enough to do a month of Training camp TV spots? Will we see another Terrell Owens "Meltdown"?
