This will be the first time David Lee Roth will be performing with Van Halen since 1984. "I am very excited to get back to the core of what made Van Halen," guitarist Eddie Van Halen said in a statement. Van Halen's 15-year-old son, Wolfgang, has stepped in for original bassist Michael Anthony in the new incarnation of the group, which also features drummer Alex Van Halen. David Lee Roth and Van Halen have signed a contract to do 40 shows over the summer. Van Halen toured in 2004 with singer Sammy Hagar, making around $40 million. Sammy Hagar is said to never want to sing for the Van Halen brothers again because he said he did not get along with Eddie. They will have to work it our for the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March. The tour dates and cities have not yet been announced.
