I thought we were headed for eviction so the only way to have proof for court was to deposit the check in my bank. The tenant wound up paying with cash and now wants the check back. Ignore this request or how best to handle, they are purposely arguementative.In addition the end of the lease is coming and the tenant has decided to inform me in writing that I can't come on the property and to give 5 days notice to visit.
