Walt Disney has acquired the whole stake in Indiagames for approximately Rs. 390 to Rs. 490 crore, reports Business Standard. Indiagames is a Indian developer and publisher of mobile and online games.   UTV had purchased 51% stake in Indiagames in 2006. UTV itself was bought by Walt Disney for Rs. 2000 crore in July this year.This had made Walt Disney the largest shareholder in Indiagames with 50.44% equity shares. The rest is owned by Indiagames founder and promoter Vishal Gondal, Tom Online, Adobe and Cisco. So, Disney’s acquisition would consist of purchasing the remaining shares it does not already own.
