Jones was released from a federal detention facility back in 2008 after completing a six-month sentence she received for lying to federal agents about using performance-enhancing drugs. Just two years after her release, Jones is sprinting in a new direction with a new John Singleton directed documentary called "Marion Jones: Press Pause." According to Singleton,I thought it was very interesting that this black woman – gotta call it what it is – was jailed where few if any other athletes, no matter the sport, have ever served any time for their involvement with steroids.
