But that's how I feel after a press screening this morning, so that's what I'm doing about "Mary and Max," the magnificent stop-motion animated story of friendship that is incredibly funny and smart and also agonizingly sad. The voice work, particularly by Philip Seymour Hoffman as lonely, middle-aged New Yorker Max, is incredible, and Adam Elliot's script is just splendid.
