The painter woke up and thief ran away. Next day the artist lodged a complaint with police authorities. The case was registered and police started investigations. Thinking that the complainant is a painter and had seen the burglar, the investigating officer asked the artist to draw an image of the outlaw on paper so that with its help he may trace him out. The 215 works are estimated to sell for $52,615,000/77,205,000 and will be exhibited on the 10th floor galleries at Sotheby?s New York from May 17 to 21.
