Last seen, there was an option of direct link downloads of contacts from Gmail. This is probably the social networking giant’s act after Google set a condition of data reciprocity. Gmail Labs – Sound Familiar?
2010-08-24 07:20:00 I was browsing the news yesterday when I came across a series of articles on “How to Undo a Sent Mail”. What I found surprising was the feedback. Apparently, this tidbit of fact was unknown to quite a few people. Quite intrigued, I asked a few of my colleagues, and though most were ardent Gmail users, they’d never heard of Labs. For all those of you who wish to add a little bit zing to your gmail experience, try Labs out. I’ll go through a few of my favourite ones (not in order of preference / usefulness) 1. The Undo Email Option : Ever had an email sent only to realise you either sent it to the wrong person, forgot a cc, or just messed up the entire mail by typing in gibberish? Have no fear! Once you enable this option in labs, you can undo any sent mail within 10 seconds. Recently, someone fiddling with their Labs settings also noticed that now you have an option to customize the delay for 5,10 or 20 seconds. 2. Sender Time Zone : Though I barely have an...
