Harry Potter fans, including about half of my Facebook friends, went to go see it and they were talking about it WEEKS beforehand. I understand that it can be exciting to see a movie the first day it comes out, and I even give them being excited a FEW days beforehand, but I swear some people were talking about it 3 WEEKS before it came out! In spite of the fact that they ruthlessly cut the preceding books to conform to the cinematic norm they've decided that the only way to resolve all of the plot points and story arcs is to cover the entire last book which is fine by me. 2007-09-04 14:31:00 I was really lucky coz I was one of those people that have had an early copy of Deathly Hallows so I was able to finish the book a day before the official release. But my review is really late.. (i’m just being lazy.. haha..) It felt really weird when I was reading the first few pages of Chapter 1, I thought that this is it, the last book. I’ve got many questions that needed answers and I was really excited to know what is the truth. On Chapter 1, there’s already one murder and it means that we would be expecting more of it in the next chapters, and I was right. But all the charactes who died have died for a reason, not just being killed while sleeping. I felt like the climax of the book was on Chapters 4 and 5, It was just amazing, my heart was pumping really hard (it feels like there’s a cat on my chest). Ron and Hermione proved that they are really very loyal to Harry coz they have been with him all along (except for Ron who left them for a while)...
