They live in a state that proudly proclaims itself Jewish, whose national anthem— The Hope—is Jewish, and which welcomes Jewish, not Arabs immigrants. It would take only fifty miles’ resettlement of the Palestinians to let both Jews and Arabs live in their own monocultural states. True, no one wants to be evicted, or even relocated to a nearby house, but sometimes there are no options. Palestinians are not some idyllic pastoral farmers for whom life is centered on the ancestral land plot. They travel to study and to work like people in any other state. Richter scored 597 points out of a possible 600 in the early 10-meter air rifle standing competition. But after scoring a perfect 100 points in his first two final sets, he missed a shot and scored 99 points in the third. His fourth set was perfect, but his fifth left him at a disadvantage. Still, once in the finales Richter was able to add 104.1 points to his score and win the silver medal. (Ynet News) For those wondering,Edmond Piasecki from France won the gold. Israel was placed third with 5 year growth of 54.5% beating Singapore into fourth place with five year growth of 50.5% but well behind China in top spot with five year growth of 110.9% and Hong Kong in second place with growth of 93.7%. (Globes) The fact that Israel is behind China and Hong Kong is shocking in my honest opinion, as I would have thought other nations (such as Japan, Canada, US?not to mention the dozen plus European countries) would have leaped ahead of this tiny Jewish state.
