Police want Lane Garrison charged on 3 counts
2007-02-01 14:53:01
Beverly Hills police said today that they will recommend that prosecutors charge a 26-year-old actor with several felonies in connection with a December car crash that killed a Beverly Hills High School student. Lane Garrison, co-star of Fox television’s "Prison Break," was behind the wheel of a 2001 SUV when he lost control and plowed into a tree on South Beverly Drive near Olympic Boulevard on Dec. 2. The crash claimed the life of 17-year-old Vahagn Setian, a popular Beverly Hills High student. Two 15-year-old girls, who were not Beverly Hills High students, were seriously hurt. Authorities said they are seeking at least three charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Beverly Hills police said officers also found containers of alcohol inside Garrison’s SUV. Beverly Hills Police Chief David Snowden said Garrison had a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.1...
Joe Simpson fires Lane Garrison from Jessica?s Blonde Ambiti
2006-12-23 00:55:01
Jessica Simpson’s father and manager Joe has fired troubled Prison Break star Lane Garrison from his daughter’s latest movie project. Garrison was a troubled youth in Texas when he moved in with his family’s minister–Joe Simpson. Even though he is still close to the Simpson family, Joe had to let him go from the film because he was set to play a character who was continually drunk. Simpson is currently filming Blonde Ambition with Luke Wilson in Shreveport, Louisiana. Garrison was involved in a car crash earlier this month that killed Vahagn Setian, 17, and injured two other passengers. Alcohol is thought to have been a factor in the crash. This is the latest trouble that Garrison has faced. Just one week after the crash, someone stole his identity and wiped out his entire bank account. Hollywood  If Joe Simpson has that much power on the movie,  no wonder that movie is being considered to go straight to DVD?
Lane Garrison?s lawyer gives some details about the fatal cr
2006-12-05 12:45:02
TMZ has learned that "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison has hired powerhouse defense attorney Harland Braun in connection with last Saturday’s fatal car accident. Lane was at the wheel in his Land Rover on Saturday night when it crossed a median in Beverly Hills and crashed into a tree. A 17-year-old boy sitting in the backseat was killed and two 15-year-olds were injured. Braun tells TMZ that Garrison had never met the three teenagers before the night of the accident. Braun says Garrison was at a local supermarket earlier in the evening when the trio recognized him in the checkout line and asked him if he wanted to go to a party. Braun says Garrison went to the party and had one drink. Braun says Garrison also had one margarita at a Mexican restaurant that night, but that was the extent of his alcohol consumption. Braun tells TMZ that as Garrison was leaving the party to meet a woman at his apartment, the three teens asked to accompany him. According to sources, th...
Lane Garrison was the driver in the fatal car crash
2006-12-05 06:44:01
Law enforcement sources from the Beverly Hills Police Department tell TMZ "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison was behind the wheel when his SUV crashed into a tree, killing one of the occupants. The accident occurred Saturday night in Beverly Hills. Sources say one of the passengers, a 15-year-old girl, was in critical condition and has a relative who works for the city of Beverly Hills. One source says the 17-year-old boy who was killed went to the local high school which is presumably Beverly Hills High. We’re told Garrison was not arrested or booked after the accident. Typically, after a "K" car crash injury — police jargon when someone is killed — cops will ask the driver to submit to a voluntary blood-alcohol test. TMZ  Not looking good for him. I still want to know what a 26 year old man is doing with a 17 year old boy and 2 15 year old girls? BTW if you read his Wikipedia bio, you will see that he lived with Joe, Jessica and Ashle...
