For me, the Mail Fetcher is a great way to move a mail account to Gmail without losing a single message. Now, I can download all of the 2,500 messages from my IMAP account into my Gmail account and officially make the switch. The download frequency seems pretty inconsistent but still reasonable. From what I can tell, the feature is designed to check for mail every 3 minutes. However, at the time of writing my account hasn’t been checked for 15 minutes. Not a huge deal, considering 200 messages are downloaded at a time, but it’s a good thing to keep i...
