And the trial of the century?s first season finale is going to start soon and millions of Egyptians are glued in front of their TV waiting for it to start , waiting to hear the verdict. It is @8:18 AM right now and the TV channels are broadcasting from inside and outside the courtroom. The Lawyers are inside the courtroom and according to news reports all defendants arrived except Mubarak whose ambulance has not arrived yet from the international medical center. We are waiting for him for the trial?s session would start !! The security convey by Ali Dahmash Egyptian journalist Nadia Abu El Maged is inside the courtroom but unfortunately she will not be tweeting from there because mobile phones and water are not allowed there !!There is technically an army protecting the police academy in a way that makes me mad about all those millions spent to secure such a trial. The police has deployed 5000 policemen and 50 armored vehicles.  There are army forces as well protecting t...
Is the Market at a Historic Turning Point? Top Watchers Say. . .
2012-06-01 23:33:00
“Richard Russell will likely be right about the broader markets entering a bear market,” said Jeff Clark, a senior precious metals analyst with Casey Research. “Otherwise, where is all the economic growth going to come from that will nullify the otherwise unavoidable impact of record debt, obscene deficit spending and runaway money printing?” he asked. “As a gold equities investor, though, this doesn’t worry me because the very reasons we’ll likely have a bear market in the overall stock market are the same ones that will drive gold and then gold stocks higher. In fact, gold is becoming less of an investment and more of … [visit site to read . . . → Read More: Is the Market at a Historic Turning Point? Top Watchers Say. . .

FUKUSHIMA CAUSES RADIOACTIVE CALIFORNIA TUNA
2012-05-31 18:54:00
The Wall Street Journal reports on how last year's Fukushima Nuclear Plant meltdown is now affecting bluefin tuna that migrate to the California coast of the United States. Surprisingly, researchers are saying that they have detected radioactive cesium isotopes in all of the fish they have tested. Of course, the actual news report and its "experts" are claiming a low to minimum radiation count, but the wise consumer should note otherwise. Unfortunately we all may have to start thinking twice about that sushi...

2012-05-31 16:33:00
If one was to ask what happened on December 7, 2010 and 2011, most folks would reference the 69th & 70th-year anniversaries of Pearl Harbor. Few people would know or care that New York's Off-Track Betting Office doors were shuttered that first year, depriving thousands of workers from earned health benefits. And on its anniversary date the following year, it marked the day that OTB worker Patti McCole entered the hospital for brain cancer.

The Gold Report: Robert, British Prime Minister David Cameron said that the European debt crisis could “get a lot worse.” What’s your view on the likely outcome? Robert Cohen: I think he’s right. It has the potential to get worse before it gets better. Europeans are going to have to deal with some sort of Eurozone fracture. Greece could certainly exit the euro within weeks rather than years. Amr Khaled : I am going to have a party Despite being an Islamist preacher , Khaled makes it clear that the party is open for all Egyptians with no political or ideological affiliation.  Speaking seriously I wonder why Khaled waited all those months to declare this step when he had enough members in ?Life Makers? movement ready to join that Social Development party. I am waiting for Azmi?s memories
2012-05-28 01:02:00
This was the good news of the day : Zakaria Azmi , the former chief of staff of Mubarak has been sentenced 7 years in jail and fined $ 6 million for corruption charges. I remember how Azmi was among the most powerful men in Egypt for nearly 30 years and how he was controlling Egypt from his office. Now I am waiting to read the memories of Zakaria Azmi which I know that either he is working on or he will work on in order to clear his name. In our long struggle for democracy , for the strong Egypt we should not forget these small victories. It is like being in a war , our spirit should not be down all the time. Red Sox News & Notes - 5/26

The only thing hotter than the Tampa Bay Rays bats against Boston Red Sox starter Jon Lester were the tempers of the coaches of both teams in the 9th inning of the 7-4 win by the visitors. After Franklin Morales hit Luke Scott in the 9th on the fourth pitch after throwing one behind him, another for a strike and another inside, Scott tried to make his way to the mound only to be stopped by Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Those two shared a shove with each other as the benches cleared but must of the jawing came between the coaches. One of the Rays players, Carlos Pena, was seen having a verbal confrontation with Red Sox pitching coach Bob McClure. Most of the rest of it was the coaches of both teams having words with the players trying to keep the coaches from killing each other. As I said in the post with the video, it was a scene at a baseball game I've never seen before. As for the game, the Rays hit three homers off Lester and those ultimately proved to the difference in the game. ...

So far in 2012, the Boston Red Sox are 22-22 after 44 games. For comparison's sake, they were 24-20 at the same point last year. So what's different about 2011 and 2012? Well obviously the new faces and new manager. In both years, the Red Sox got off to horrible starts with the difference being that they got to .500 faster this year. The only problem being they haven't been able to get over the hump. Last year and this year as the weather has gotten warmer the Red Sox have played better. Lately, they have been playing some good ball with all the facets of the game working in their favor. Last year when they got over the .500 mark, it was the same thing. One difference from last year was that when one of the facets wasn't going their way, the others would step up and get the job done. While that wasn't the case for the early part of the season this year, it has been lately. The Red Sox are a good baseball team. They are not a great baseball team. They didn't come in to this yea...

With the top three in the Boston Red Sox lineup going a combined 2-for-15 in yesterday's 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles, the production came from the unlikeliest of sources. The 7-8-9 hitters. Daniel Nava, Scott Podsednik and Kelly Shoppach all went 2-for-3 and all three of them each had a home run. Nava's home run in the 6th put the Red Sox out in front for good at 3-2 while Shoppach's two-run homer two batters later gave the Red Sox some breathing room. In the 8th inning, Podsednik adding a solo home run for an insurance run the Red Sox would end up needing. Nava has been producing for the most part since his callup from the PawSox and has pretty much been a regular in the lineup. Shoppach sees most of his time against lefties but Bobby Valentine has gone away from that in recent starts. Facebook's reversal of fortunes in such a short span of time has played out almost like a modern-day morality tale.  The fall-out of the social network post-IPO, after such an enthusiastic build-up was telling. While it lined the pockets of some (namely investment bankers), it deprived the 99 Percenters (or Dumb F*cks as Zuckerberg so adroitly labeled them back in 2004) full-disclosure, resulting in a subsequent short-fall on their FB investment.
