Ginger Rugai (19th) is pushing an ordinance that would require everyone writing parking tickets for the city to provide photographic evidence--including the police. Currently, only Parking Enforcement Aides (PEA) and SERCO (a private parking enforcement contractor) utilize the handheld ticketing computers called AutoCITEs which have photographic abilities.
