Golden Pineapple Ball ???
2012-01-20 10:20:00 I finally had time to make Pineapple Tarts by staying up late last night. To save time, I did the close up type and shaped it like a ball. I bought some cloves and want to use it to make it look like a tangerine but totally forgotten about it until I finished making. I'm using my old recipe as we like the texture. These Golden Pineapple Ball consist of 8g pineapple jam with 12g dough. I baked them this time at 180C for 16mins I save some dough too, to make Chocolate Cookies for my daughter. She has been pestering me to do it since I failed my 1st attempt. :P This round it was much better with just a 6g dough for each chocolate pastille, dusted with cocoa powder and baked at 180C for 13mins. The cool climate, vast plateaus and fertile land have all made this municapility a perfect environment for Del Monte's Smooth Cayenne variety. With the multinational company's 20,000 acres of pineapple plantations, there might be more pineapples than there are humans living in Manolo Fortich. Del Monte's beginnings in the province could be traced back to Philippine Packing Corporation (PPC) when the Americans started an experimental plantation in the 1920s. I am quite envious actually and I would swap weather with any of you in a heartbeat. So I have decided to share something refreshing from the heat with all those sweating in those hot spots all over America and elsewhere. A nice Pineapple Smoothie should do the trick. I have always loved pineapple during the summer especially, and even now we enjoy having fresh pineapple here in the winter months as well. I love to munch on it, and I really do enjoy cooking with it too. Pineapple is terrific on homemade pizzas, and great in a pork stir fry too. It’s right up there with ice cream bread with the number of ingredients but unlike the ice cream bread, this one is virtually fat-free. Using a spoon rather than an electric mixer, mix an angel food cake mix with a 20-oz. can of crushed pineapple in its own juice. Prepare a 9 X 13 cake pan with cooking spray, then pour the batter in. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn the oven off and let the cake sit for five minutes before removing from the oven. Apparently, the wait is to prevent the cake from possible falling and turning gummy. After it has cooled, cut into squares. After mixing the batter, it seemed to expand in the bowl.
