I thought it is a cool idea to create a music video to illustrate a full song from my "Alpha" album. This song is a tribute to Steve Vai. "V" for "Five". "V" for "Vai" as well. I used various instruments such as a flugelhorn, a strings section, a piano, a DX keyboard and Drawbar Organ to create an instrumentation which mixes classical music and jazz influence in a rock ballad. But Vulture is now reporting that Steve Quale has signed up to direct Category 6, a “found-footage” film about “high-school students documenting the wrath of an enormous, tornado-spawning windstorm.” Sounds like it could be interesting. We’ve already seen a film where storm chasers chase tornadoes in Twister, and this could be entertaining. Of course, Quale also recently made Final Destination 5 and worked with James Cameron on Avatar, so you can expect the film will in 3D.
