And now, comes the news that Nokia plans to slash 7000 employees by the end of 2012 as a cost-cutting method, which is essential to prepare the company for its upcoming partnership. During this reorganisation, the company would ramp up its portfolio and services provided by devoting to increase its development capacity of devices running on WP7. Out of these 7000 employees, 4000 would be part of the worldwide job cuts and would include 300 jobs in India. The other 3000 would be shifted to Accenture, the company to which Nokia is outsourcing the future development of Symbian.
