MICHEL GONDRY'S TAXI DRIVER
2011-12-27 02:00:00 French filmmaker, Michel Gondry, recently produced a sweded version of Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver. If you're unfamiliar with the term "sweded" it's actually from one of Gondry's past films, Be Kind Rewind, a story about a couple of video rental clerks create home-made versions of classic films that become more popular than the originals. So without further adieu we present to you Taxi Driver--The Michel Gondry Re-make:

Uneventful as they should be. This particular driver was an exception. I'm positive that I've met him before and in-fact included him in an article I wrote in 2003 titled "The Singapore Taxi Driver" where I suffered a journey of imitation bagpipe playing and horse neighing. CITY TAXI DRIVER CLAIMS DISCRIMINATION BY GARDAI
2008-03-20 20:33:00 A taxi driver in the city is claiming that black taxi drivers are being discriminated against by members of An Garda Síochána. Abram Madasa claims that he has been targetted by Gardaí in recent weeks who have issued tickets and penalty points to him. He claims he did not do anything wrong and should not have received the penalties. Mr. Madasa says he will be taking the matter further and may contact Garda authorities in relation to what he describes as discrimination against black taxi drivers. A spokesperson for Garda Headquarters at Millstreet says they are happy to deal with any complaints individuals make about members of the force. The spokesperson added that people can also contact the Garda Ombudsman Commission with their concerns if they wish.
