Toothpaste Caps.
2009-09-20 13:35:00
Getting the kids to brush their teeth everyday can be a bit of a chore, but there is a simple and easy solution to it by Spread Heads - Toothpaste Heads/Caps. These encourage kids to brush their teeth. As the name implies, these caps can be kept on the usual sized toothpaste tubes, replacing the standard cap that it came with. There are two to choose from - Pete the dog, and Oscar the cat. These work with most of the toothpastes. Once you fix it on your toothpaste, the toothpaste flows easily through their mouths. Once you are done, there is a paw that closes their mouth so that the cap gets closed. With these, getting the kids to brush their teeth becomes a lot easier and is more fun.(Image credit: perpetualkid).(Image credit: urbanoutfitters).(Image credit: perpetualkid).Watch the "Toothpaste Heads/Caps" Video on Youtube------Alessi Rondo Toothpaste Caps: (Image credit: ipejournal).------Spread Heads Mustard Marvin and Ketchup Charlie: Ketchup Charlie and Mustard Marvin replaces...

Drive Safely Campaign. A campaign which drives the point straight across to the viewers. Perhaps what really matters if one doesn't follow the rules of driving; don't care about drinking and driving or for seatbelt or for that matter, safe driving? Till one sees this video, it's really difficult to show the finer details, but once it's seen, then things become so evident. A campaign can really bring awareness in our opinion too. Hotel de Sal Playa - Salt Hotel.
2008-09-04 19:08:00
Hotel de Sal Playa - Salt Hotel. Hotel de Sal Playa is located near the famous Uyuni salt deposit in the southwestern part of the Bolivia. The hotel was built in 1993 by a salt artisan to capitalize the opportunity which was existing as the numerous tourists were looking for a place to stay during the visit to the nearby deposit (one of the world's largest of its kind). The hotel walls are made of salt blocks and are held together with a cement-like substance which is made of salt and water. Though during the rainy seasons the walls are need to be strengthened with new blocks. It has 15 bedrooms, a dining room, a living room and a bar. At this 'Salt Hotel' everything (well, almost) is made up of salt; you sit on the salt chairs, eat on salt tables, sleep on salt beds and enjoy your drinks in the salt bar. Apart from these even the roof, walls are made of salt and the even the floor is covered with salt granules. Which means you wine, dine and sleep on salt! In the dining room of...

Though one may use wet cloth, sponges or for that matter special cleaning napkins but still all can't be cleaned using these. How about cleaning a keyboard which would require vacuum cleaner. Here is where the innovative Cyber Clean cleanser comes in picture where the other conventional cleaners could give the needed results. Cyber Clean is a unique and universal solution to clean any equipment like keyboards, mobile phones, organizers, printers, paddles and pads, cameras, MP3-Players, laptops, monitors and other equipments. Metal Wires Growing From Human Body.

Metal Wires Growing From Human Body.In the past we have seen some Unique People but here is one person who is more different than anyone we came across. Her name is Noorsyaidah. A 40 years old kindergarten teacher from Sangatta, East Kutai. It started in 1991 when metal wires grew out of her chest and her stomach. Metal wires about 10-20 cm long. During the first week, they kept falling off and were gone, but a month later, they grew back again and from then on the wires never fell. They kept on growing. Its now 17 years and still she found no solution. Initial professional consultations revealed that the wires are also inside her body. There are more than 40 metal wires inside her and some of them are pushing out of her skin. They look like a living phenomenon. The wires are able, mobile and can change location at will. Maho Beach And Its Low Flying Planes.
2008-08-18 18:18:00
Maho Beach And Its Low Flying Planes.Maho Beach is known worldwide because of Princess Juliana International Airport that is situated adjacent to the beach. The Princess Juliana airport (the second busiest airport in the Eastern Caribbean) has a short runway - at only 2,180 meters which barely long enough for heavy jets to land. And hence the incoming airplanes approach the island on short final for Runway 09 and have to fly extremely low, resulting in very low altitudes on their final approach over the beach and passing only 10-20 meters (30-60 ft.) over relaxing tourists on the Maho Beach. And the low flying airplanes include large passenger airliners such as the Boeing 747, which in turn made the location very popular with plane spotters. And a matter of fact, when an airplane takes off from the runway 09, people standing on the beach can feel the pressure created by the jet and even can observe it on the water. It is one of the few places in the world as of 2008 where one can v...

The other bridge spans 300 ft across the canyon and is 125 ft above the canyon floor. Eagle Canyon is a privately owned site near Ouimet Canyon, situated in Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park in Northwestern Ontario. In the Ouimet Canyon area, there are rare alpine flowers that are considered especially beautiful and arctic plants normally found 1000 km further north. "He Ordered a Cone AND a Sundae!"
2008-06-03 02:46:00
Speaking of juicy Roger Ebert outbursts, how about this classic 80s outtake from Siskel & Ebert & the Movies? The dueling critics rip into each other with no signs of stopping:
Me Put Pee-Pee in Your Coke
2008-06-02 05:05:00
From now on, whenever I see Roger Ebert, I'm going to point a finger in the air, roll my neck, and yell, "You go, girl!" Some years ago at the Sundance Film Festival, Ebert famously defended the film, Better Luck Tomorrow, against an outraged Caucasian audience member who felt that the Asian American-made BLT was an amoral affront to the Asian-American community. What I didn't know?until I saw Arthur Dong's juicy new documentary, Hollywood Chinese, this afternoon?was that Ebert's impassioned, vociferous outburst was recorded. Skip to the 2:35 mark in this video clip (from a BLT DVD extra, I believe) to see that electrifying moment:That moment is among many enlightening pleasures in the endlessly fascinating Hollywood Chinese, which digs into 100 years of film history to trace the trajectory of the Chinese in American film.In another eye-opening segment, Dong discovers two reels of the movie, The Curse of Quon Gwon, now considered to be the first-ever piece of Asian-American cine...
Why I Never Go to the Country
2008-05-31 06:59:00
You know where all the psychopathic killers of the world are? They hang out around cabins in the woods and, like in The Strangers, around summer homes in the country. This is why I only vacation in big cities, where the only thing I have to worry about are your everyday garden-variety muggers and not people with burlap sack masks over their heads and axes in their hands. The Strangers has its share of good scares (I don't think I've ever heard so many terrified girls screaming repeatedly in a theater), but it's the movie's expertly taut atmosphere and its unrelenting commitment to dread that makes it deeply, deeply unsettling. You see, first-time filmmaker Bryan Bertino (someone give that man a cigar or a blow job or some kind of reward) eschews such pesky cinematic notions as plot and character, opting instead for a simple structure (our two lone heroes fend against three bloodthirsty motherfuckers in the middle of nowhere) and sticking to that with an obsessive glee. Sick bast...

More TIMtv Video Clips To Cure Your Trading Addiction

When I see emails and blog comments from people asking about random ass stocks like Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (SIRI), Ford Motor Company (F) and China Finance Online Co. (ADR) (JRJC), I know I haven’t promoted my instructional DVD PennyStocking hard enough. I thought I was doing a good job, but it turns out I was wrong. Cuz if you had seen it, you’d know its central theme is to only trade worthy opportunities being a.) incredibly volatile stocks—think up 50-300% in a few days and b.) inefficient stocks—think spam stocks, message board/newsletter pumps…stuff like NTI…NEVER would I recommend playing large liquid companies that everyone and their mother has some opinion on. On those, you have no odds whatsoever, so it’s no wonder why so many traders lose money. You’re overtrading. Trust me, I know how addictive the kinds of profits you made on PDO, MXC, FPP, and ROYL can be, but now you gotta step back and realize those patterns are gone now. As I anticipated, tr...

Hot Underwear; or Prince's Final Thoughts on "American Idol"
2008-05-23 19:48:00
I haven't really watched American Idol since the Fantasia-Jennifer Hudson season four years ago, but I did tune in to the Dolly Parton episodes this season, only to be devastated when that cute little Filipino girl got booted, prompting me to stand up, point to the TV, and scream at America, "Racist! Racist! Racist!" She did a terrific version of Parton's "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind," while other contestants absolutely butchered?and I mean butchered?some of Parton's better-known songs. Goodbye, Ramiele Malubay. Maybe you can become the new Jollibee spokesperson? Your own people would never sell you down the river!:As for David Archuleta and David Cook, I didn't really care who won. It's not like I was going to buy either of their albums, and, for once, I was not lecherously obsessed with either of them.... Until?OH MY GOD?they ran a Guitar Hero commercial featuring David Cook dancing in his underwear like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. Seriously hot. So seriously hot that I have ...
Pork? Beans? Hell yeah!
2008-05-23 19:28:00
So many songs from Weezer's new "red" album have already been leaked (the official release date is June 3, 2008), but Rivers and crew have finally taken it upon themselves to post the "Pork and Beans" music video, a YouTube-themed extravaganza of visual and aural delights:For those haters (I know who you are) who have been crying for years, "Weezer hasn't made a good record since the blue album," and who practically shit themselves in disgust when they first heard "Beverly Hills," GET OVER IT! It takes real genius to create something as unabashedly infectious as "Beverly Hills," and Weezer's best album is actually 1996's flawless Pinkerton?derided by "fans" upon its release and only enjoying a sort of renaissance in recent years. "Across the Sea," anyone? It's one of my favorite songs of all time, so much so that I've even found a way to "teach" it in my playwriting workshops. I'm a tricky one:

I Am Not Ashamed
2008-05-15 09:27:00
"Mmm Bop" by Hanson is one of the most played tracks on my computer, according to my Rhapsody music player, which chooses songs from my online library at random for me throughout the day. I am not ashamed. You bitches couldn't stop singing that song when it first debuted in 1997 either, so shut the fuck up!:That's right. You, like me, could only decipher about six words in that entire song, but you loved it anyway. You can't get it out of your head now, can you?And remember when you finally did look up the lyrics online? You realized how fucking profound that song is! For reals! It's an ode to deep friendships and a lament for relationships that have faded. All those "mmm bops" and "ba duba dops"? Those are supposed to be the heartbreaking sounds of people you have loved disappearing from your life. You need more reasons not to be ashamed of your love of "Mmm Bop"? Hi-Ya!
2008-05-13 15:00:00
The Mamet-rigged cons and double crosses in Redbelt may not be as complicated and elegant as the ones in, say, The Spanish Prisoner, Spartan, or, my favorite Mamet film, the criminally underrated (and unavailable-on-DVD), Homicide, but Redbelt towers over those films in terms of emotional resonance and giving the audience a hero that it can not only sympathize with but also root for. That's a big deal. I typically don't go into a Mamet movie (even on repeated viewings) cheering for the protagonists?I'm too busy keeping up with the plot twists, the stylized dialogue, the smoke and mirrors. (One exception is, perhaps, State and Main, his terrific comedy about Hollywood.)Many of Mamet's regulars who I've come to know and love are here: Joe Mantenga, Ricky Jay, Rebecca Pidgeon, etc. But its Chiwetel Ejiofor, that mind-bogglingly great British actor from Dirty Pretty Things and Melinda and Melinda, that brings gravitas not only to his role as a stoic Jiu-Jitsu instructor with a stri...
Whenever My Dreams Come True, a Kid With Cancer Lives to See Another Day

There are several possible reasons why Drake Bell did not meet and greet all his fans after his rockin' good concert at the National Train Day event at Union Station in Los Angeles: 1.) he was seriously distraught that some teen girl swiped his sunglasses from right off the stage and ran off with them after the show; 2.) he wanted to stand close to his brand new black BMW because it gave him comfort in his time of loss; or 3.) he knew that if he met me that I would ask him these two questions in all seriousness: a.) "Is the song 'Up Periscope' really a metaphorical ode to anal sex?," and b.) "Will you father my children?" Little does he know, that I am always looking out for his career and advocating for him whenever I have the opportunity. Don't you owe me a fan photograph, Drake? Don't you?! The readers of Bamboo Nation are inspired every time they see my dreams come true! And it's that kind of inspiration that gives kids with cancer hope for another day! Don't you want to ...
Best Acceptance Speech Ever?

New Yorkers, how lucky were you to see Elaine Stritch at Liberty when it ran on Broadway a few years ago? How great was it to witness a living legend, at the age of 77, belt out showtunes and wax nostalgic about the history of American theater? How thrilling must it have been to hear Stritch's funny, fascinating, and amazing anecdotes about Marlon Brando, Noel Coward, and Ethel Merman? At the time did you know what a national treasure she was and how adeptly she could spin events in her life into breathtaking stories?I didn't know. Until now. Last night I watched the DVD of Stritch's performance, which was filmed for HBO, and discovered she is a one-woman Jukebox Stories. She tells tales and sings songs, and her stage presence is undeniably irresistible. She won a Tony Award in 2002, of course, and her Emmy Award for the HBO special yielded one of the most delightful and unprecedented acceptance speeches in the history of award shows:How could you not love her?! And if you're a N...
Technology Is Good

I just realized that I never posted this trailer that advertises Scott Heim's new novel, We Disappear. It doubles as a moody music video for a Cindytalk (who?!) song. The video was shot and edited by Scott himself because, I presume, he's as much of a control freak as I am:Theater folk have increasingly started using video to peddle their wares. Why don't more publishing houses follow suit? The future is now, people! If you don't embrace technology and make it your friend, eventually the robots are going to kill you!
Back to the Drawing Board, Google

As you know, Google rules just about every part of my online experience?I use Gmail, Google Reader, Google Maps, Google Groups, Google Talk, Google News, Google Alerts, Google's Blogger, Google Analytics, and, of course, Google Search. If an application called Google Masturbator existed, I would have it.So when I recently read that Google launched a totally free 411 service, which can be accessed by dialing 1-800-GOOG-411, I was thrilled. Now Google could be a part of my life even when I'm away from the computer! Plus, no more $1.25 charges from Sprint 411 to get the number of my nearest Indian casino! Check it out:Now does the free-ness of the service cancel out that fact that the only two times I've tried to use it it didn't work? The first time I was connected to the wrong business (Outback Steakhouse in Burbank instead of Glendale [don't ask]) , and the second time the computer on the other end of my phone line couldn't figure out what the hell I was saying ("Raffi's Rest...
Scaring the Crap Out of Innocent Girls
2008-05-07 21:41:00
The producers of a Japanese TV show decided to surprise a studio full of teenage girls by showing them a clip from the horror movie, The Ring. The girls freak out and scream, as teenage girls are wont to do, but what happens next is surprising and delightful:Oh, there is so much joy in the world!
