Golden Throne of India?s Sathya Sai Baba. He says he will Rule the world so
2009-11-21 22:05:00 Soon never comes ... On November 23, 2009, he celebrates with enormous pomp and extravagance his 84th birthday. Sathya Sai Baba is haggard, weak and ailing, although on his 60th birthday he proclaimed that he would thenceforth not age. He long ago said that he will travel to other countries, actually naming some of them, and that he would perform these visits after first putting his "own backyard" (India) in order. In many respects, India is still in a parlous state.
Lord Paul Swarj Under British Police Investigation
2009-10-12 23:45:00 I have written of the Sathya Sathya Sai Baba-implicated and high-profile British Labour Government Minister, Tony McNulty MP, and police investigations into allegations of rorting the British taxpayer. The very wealthy Lord Paul of Marylebone (See Wikipedia note below) is now under police investigation for the same reason. In probing Lord Paul, the British media might like, while investigating, to see whether Paul has been assisting the Sathya Sai Organization, as has been Tony McNulty. Both have long been powerfully influential in the British Labour Party.
Tattler readers share a wealth of ideas to improve the CTA
2009-08-17 13:00:00 First, many thanks to all who have made some thoughtful suggestions on ways to improve the CTA. So far there are well over 100 comments, and probably 200 ideas or more, since many folks had more than one idea.CTA management definitely reads this blog, and I intend to ask them about some of the suggestions. Many of you asked for more stations and station rehabs, and others want some stations closed. Others suggested bus-only lanes and better street-level signage. Jeanine thinks most public-facing employees need retraining on how to interact with customers.Goldminetim jumped into the fray a few times and challenged some of the ideas. That helps make for a richer discussion. Dromero had some good, basic suggestions, such as...
You Dream of Wealth - Your Program to Get It
2009-04-28 17:19:00 For you to achieve success, if you haven't found it, look within! Your subconscious is absorbing all that you hear, see, and think. Until you take control of the thoughts you send to the subconscious, it will be impossible to change. There is one simple step to take control. Develop your Faith. The way to do that is through persistent, consistent daily self-talk. Find your strengths and work on those weak areas with your positive self-talk. You can use any affirmations as long as they eliminate your weaknesses. Start with 1-3 areas depending upon how persistent and consistent you are. For example, you have to get all the information before making a decision. One affirmation for you might be: I'll make a decision as soon as I have enough information to see the big picture. Repeat this each time you start going off on a tangent. So, faith is needed, faith in yourself. How do you develop this faith?"FAITH is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation or repeated...

China Business. Which Comes First The Wealth Or The Low End?
2009-04-11 16:58:00 Had breakfast yesterday with Jack Perkowski, author of the book, Managing the Dragon, and the blog of the same name. Jack recently left as CEO of Asimco Technologies to start JFP Holdings, "a merchant bank for China." Jack has been doing business in China for a long time and he clearly knows whereof he speaks and I found his stories on China business fascinating and enlightening. Much of our discussion was about the still nearly unlimited business opportunities in China, particularly in health care and green tech, and of how it is now pretty much a given that Western companies must go to China for growth. We also talked about how there are essentially two markets for so many products and services in China. There is the high end market, which is pretty much the equivalent of that in the places like the United States, Western Europe, and Japan (which, for simplification purposes only, I am going to call "the West"). And there is the low end market, which essentially has no equiv...

2009-02-16 09:26:00 Obama’s Wealth Destruction President Obama is under the impression that history owes him $1 trillion right now to spend on whatever he wants. Affiliate Marketing with Ez Wealth Solutions
2008-12-12 10:34:00 By Mary HooperIncreasing cash inflow is one of the core business objectives. However this does not come automatically and requires good strategic planning to achieve. A number of strategies are used to ensure business owners reach the ultimate goal of financial freedom. One of these strategies is the affiliate marketing plan. Marketing is essential for the ultimate success of any business since it is through marketing that sales are driven up. The affiliate marketing plan involves individual business owners partnering with manufactures to promote their products online. The affiliate marketing plan blends perfectly well with internet marketing. In fact, affiliate marketing depends on the internet for its ultimate success. It involves giving commissions to individual business owners for every product they sell on their website. To succeed in affiliate marketing one has to use a number of marketing tools. One of these techniques is advertising. One has to carry out an aggressive ad...

How Government Destroys Our Wealth
2008-11-24 07:09:00 -By Warner Todd Huston Want to know why our economy is foundering? Blame government spending. Government spends $57,000 per family of 4 per year. Pure waste. The median household income of Americans is only around $45,000, so the people aren’t even making as much as the government wastes on them. This is unsustainable. Here is a great slide ...

Obama Talked About Redistrubition Of The Wealth In 1996
2008-10-29 10:17:00 Barack Obama observed that Martin Luther King?s March on Washington in the 1960s wasn?t simply about civil rights but demanded jobs as well. Now the issue is again coming to the front, but he wished the issue was on the Democratic agenda not just on [Pat] Buchanan?s.One of the themes that has emerged in Barack Obama?s campaign is ?what does it take to create productive communities?, not just consumptive communities. It is an issue that joins some of the best instincts of the conservatives with the better instincts of the left. He felt the state government has three constructive roles to play. The first is ?human capital development?. By this he meant public education, welfare reform, and a ?workforce preparation strategy?. Public education requires equality in funding. It?s not that money is the only solution to public education?s problems but it?s a start toward a solution. The current proposals for welfare reform are intended to eliminate welfare but it?s also true that the status ...
Real Wealth: The case for gold
2008-10-28 05:00:00 In a fascinating Q&A for his newsletter subscribers, resource expert Larry Edelson (http://www.thestockadvisors.co-m/ccount/click.php?id=2498) is asks, “Is the bull market in gold over?”In his Real Wealth (http://www.thestockadvisors.co-m/ccount/click.php?id=2498), the advisors discusses five primary reasons for remaining bullish on gold for the long-term – and offers some favorite fund and ETF plays for investors seeking exposure to this sector.“No way, no how. Any pullbacks you see in gold, no matter how bearish they may appear, are opportunities to buy! The basis for that view ...“First, the charts and technical analysis suggest that gold remains in a very strong, long-term uptrend. Even its sharp pullback has failed to break the back of the long-term uptrend.“In fact, gold could fall to $643 and it would still be in a long-term bull market that would lead to new highs down the road. I don’t believe gold will get that low, but if it does, ...

Is 'spread the wealth' same as socialism?
2008-10-19 01:48:00 Charges are mulitplying by McCain and his surrogates that Barack Obama's tax proposals and other economic ideas are 'socialist' in nature. Well, it's true that the phrase "spread the wealth" never goes over well with the richest class, and I can think of no better reason than this: if spreading or sharing actually occurred, half a million or so of their dollars might be used to feed the hungry, bind the wounds of the ill and dying, and comfort an orphan or a foster child or two. Why, a factory might be built and a few jobs created - and after the corporate elite worked so hard to ship our jobs overseas, too!So apparently, if there's one thing a rich man can't stand, it's being his brother's keeper by giving back a little of the largesse he receives through the laws of this great nation and from the sweat of the common worker's brow. Never mind that a rich man has money and legal reps to avoid paying taxes which he rightly should have been paying all along. Plus, they didn't...
Bush regime transfers wealth: Bailout Bill
2008-10-17 16:27:00 Additional Thoughts on the Bailout "We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office" - Aesop By Paul Craig Roberts Just as the Bush regime's wars have been used to pour billions of dollars into the pockets of its military-security donor base, the Paulson bailout looks like a Bush regime scheme to incur $700 billion in new public debt in order to transfer the money into the coffers of its financial donor base. #~:~See, that's what I've been trying to say! What Market? Program Traders Feast on Other People's Wealth by Evan Palmer
2008-10-11 00:28:00 The market, popularly thought of as thriving industrious individuals who behave rationally and collect relevant information and make informed decisions - or not. It's not true in today's market if it ever was. Today's market is electronic and hierarchical, the small trades feed into the bigger trades feed into the trades which qualify as program trades. A standard definition being over $1 million worth of 15 or more stocks. But even that is piddling compared to the real movers and shakers. The big investment banks employ more staff on their IT side than on their trading side. As do the hedge and mutual funds. The volumes and percentages of all trading done by a few behemoths is increasing. The danger from hackers especially well-placed insiders is far greater here than elsewhere. Siphoning off even a hundred million a day is within rounding errors. The small and decreasing circle of those who trade the bulk of the world's financial markers wield enormous unaccountable power with ...

2008-09-23 08:01:00 From The Oprah & Friends Radio Show with Jean Chatzky, 16 September 2008 The Emotion Behind Money: Building Wealth from the Inside Out by Julie Murphy Casserly This book is based upon an insight that’s literally turning the financial services industry upside down. It’s the notion that we each have specific emotions, or emotional patterns, attached to money that were imprinted on us before we even had a choice to have a checking account. Whether you personally recognize this or not, today those emotions impact every financial decision you face. They are responsible for how you make money and how you keep it, or whether, as is often the case, it seems to go out the door faster than it comes in. Amazingly, those feelings are not just fleeting reactions; they actually influence how much money you’ll make and amass throughout your entire life! The purpose of this book is to help you recognize your emotions behind money, and likewise help you discover healthier ways...

Real wealth from rare metals?
2008-08-28 07:00:00 "Obscured in the long shadow cast by towering gold and platinum, a little-known collection of other rare metals is sprouting and shooting up like Jack’s beanstalk right under investors’ noses," says Larry Edelson (http://www.thestockadvisors.co-m/ccount/click.php?id=2304).Her-e, the natural resources expert and editor of Real Wealth (http://www.thestockadvisors.co-m/ccount/click.php?id=2304) takes a look at companies involved in lesser-know metals that are increasingly important to to high technology world."With some notable exceptions, rare metals aren’t generally of much use by themselves. But they enable many technologies vital to modern industry."For example, t...

Jump Start Your Wealth
2008-08-08 17:06:00 There are seven steps to jump start your wealth. You can choose to do any or all of the following steps. The more fully you participate in as many of the steps as possible, the faster and bigger your positive results will be. 1. Create a business. Make sure it’s in the proper business structure and that you have anticipated: (1) at least one clear exit strategy, (2) sources of funding for the business, (3) how to take money out of the business, and (4) a strategy to run the business in a way that reduces risk for you. Sometimes starting a business is as simple as changing your employment status from an employee to an independent contractor. 2. Discover your hidden business deductions. It can be a major eye-opener when the first-time business owner discovers all the things that are now tax-deductible. These are the things you used to spend personal money on. The difference is that they are now deductible. Discover and properly document those expenses. This is how your business ...
