The UConn Huskies women's basketball team hadn't played a game in a while where they dominated from start to finish. With Rutgers shorthanded, it didn't take UConn long to take control of the game as they went on to a very easy 66-34 win over 9,982 on Saturday at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, CT. The crowd of 9,982 was the biggest at Gampel this season. It's the ninth straight win for the No. 3/3 Huskies who improve to 21-2 (9-1 Big East). With their third straight loss, No. 13/14 Rutgers falls to 17-6 (6-4). Playing just 20 minutes, Stefanie Dolson paced the Huskies with 16 points and had four rebounds. DeLisle On Thursday, January 12, 2012, the Small Business Administration issued an interim final rule, which alters the protest procedures pertaining to its Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program. The changes serve two primary functions. First, when the SBA implemented the WOSB program by publishing a final rule in the Federal Register on October 7, 2010, it established set-aside thresholds of $5 million for contracts pertaining to manufacturing and $3 million for all other contracts. As part of the new interim rule, those thresholds have increased to $6.5 million and $4 million, respectively, to account for inflation. Second, the changes ushered in as part of the interim rule, make the protest procedures for the WOSB Program consistent with the SBA’s other set-aside programs. Well they made sure he'd be happy with how they responded. The Huskies put this one away early as they went on to an easy 93-40 win over the Fairfield Stags in front of 8,106 at Gampel Pavilion on campus in Storrs, CT. UConn finishes the 2011 portion of their schedule at 11-1. The Stags fall to 7-4. Tiffany Hayes led the way for the Huskies with 23 points and added five rebounds. Stefanie Dolson had perhaps her finest game of the season with 22 points and pulled down four rebounds. Freshman Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and Brianna Banks both had 12 points off the bench while Bria Hartley had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists. 2011-12-27 20:03:00 Today the administrative court has suspended the practice of the virginity tests officially in Egypt. This verdict was the first fruit of the lawsuits filed by human rights organizations on behalf Samira Ibrahim. The rest of the fruits is the investigation with that doctor conscript that did that virginity next Sunday. The administrative court will also see if Samira should be compensated or not. According to the administrative court : The virginity tests are violation to the sacred women?s body as well a clear violation to the constitutional declaration.
