If you are trying to install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 RTM then it might be you are doomed like me for now! Here is why. Weird QQ client downloads. English & for Vista

Checking the Wikipedia article of QQ I found out that on the South African site they offer an English version of QQ2003, on the Chinese site however they offer an English version of QQ2005 which even was updated for Vista ! Interesting! Trust not releasing Windows X64 drivers because of the market

I just noticed today, when looking for Vista X64 support of the new keyboard I have just ordered - a Wireless Optical Slimline Deskset DS-3200, that Trust states they won't release Windows X64 drivers because of the market."Are there drivers available for Windows XP64bit?No, because Windows XP64bit is more for the professional market. According to Mano, the producer of the double CD: "the C64 orchestra started with Jeroen Tel. I do not know why they (at least I found none...) removed the link from the site, but this thing is cool (and expensive) because it shows the drive name and the MBs left in numbers and as a pie graphic. I asked Ipevo again regarding the problems I experienced with Vista X64 back in September.Here is their reply:"As Windows Vista still contains some compabibility issues which cause recording malfunctions on Vista X64bit. Installing a XBOX360 Controller in Windows Vista X64 can be painful!

Well, I like to learn from mistakes others did and so I decided when I wanted a Xbox360 controller, don't get the wireless one as others have problems with it.You know there is this golden rule: Never use the old drivers coming with a product on a CD since those drivers are old and obsolete. Download from their homepage instead and so I did.However what I noticed was, as soon as I plugged in the controller, the USB Sound card / USB headset would stop playing properly. All was overamped and shaked, a really awful sound experience!Yes, the driver seemed to conflict with the C-Media sound codecs that are coming with Vista . I have tried several USB ports of course, until I just decided to put it into my 2nd USB hub and uninstall the driver and the driver file from the Device Manager and let it reinstall by letting it searching for the drivers online which obviously downloaded and installed some old drivers, since If I would run Windows Update now it will tell me that there is an updat...

ViewSonic warranty replacement

I am having a ViewSonic VX924 as some of you already know but just recently it constantly switched on an off for 5 mins after powering it up if not being in use for 6-8 hours.Luckily, I had 3 years warranty on this beast and so I called warranty hotline of ViewSonic and I have to say it went smoothly without any issues! Warranty hotline was very friendly, unfortunately no replacement unit was on stock so they promised me to call back once a unit was available for me which they did after a weeek and promised me to deleiver it within the next 3 days which they did. Over Christmas, I decided to sell my old webcams (A Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision and a Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP.I decided to go for the Logitech QuickCam Sphere AF which is the direct successor of the MP so it has the same cool face tracking and all the other stuff but additionally also auto focus and the ability to make high quality video in connection with Skype 3.6.The advantage of the QuickCam 11.5 software is also that it doesn't automagically activate RightLight2 which causes a huge delay destroying fluent movements of 25-30 fps the Carl Zeiss optic can do. As experienced often, after Yahoo or Google took over a business, the support of those is getting down. Another proof I found today at Feedburner .All you get is a form that looks like this:Missio impossible to ask a question and get help. However, on the right handed side there is a Spanish email address which I sent my problem to and I really received an automatic reply from Feedburners ENGLISH support department including a tracking ID to my inquery!
