Digg Says Goodbye to Adsense
2007-07-26 14:31:00 Social news site Digg announced that it has signed an exclusive advertising agreement with Microsoft for the next three years. This deal is a big blow to Google whose Adsense program is currently being used by Digg and will be replaced by Microsoft’s. In the company’s blog, Kevin Rouse, founder of Digg, said that the move “gives us an advertising partner with a larger organization and a more scalable technology platform to keep pace with Digg’s growth. Best of all, it lets the Digg team completely focus on new feature development.” According to comScore, Digg have 4.4 million unique visitors in the U.S. for June 2007 alone, an incredible 222% increase over the same month last year.
