Through The Fire And Flames - BEATEN
2007-11-30 06:18:00
WOOHOO! I am ecstatic. Earlier this night, history was made. I have completed the Guitar Hero III song entitled Through The Fire And Flame s by Dragonforce in the expert mode. This song has been infamous for being very very hard. The intro itself is enough to make people fail within seconds. But I have conquered the challenge. I got through the intro by tapping with my right hand, which is normally used for strumming. Picture + link can be found below. WOO! My life's goal has now been fulfilled.(I assure you that no cheating was used, and this is indeed a picture of GHIII playing on my PS2 on my terrible TV)Thank you for subscribing to my blog!
iPhone 3G In 2008
2007-11-30 00:29:00
It is (somewhat) official. Or at least on AT&T's side. AT&T's Chief Executive Officer Randall Stephenson stated that the 3G model of the iPhone will be released next year. And what I am thinking is, why didn't they just release it to begin with? I'm sure people would rather wait a few months to get a 3G version, even if it costs $100 more than the now $400 iPhone. To me it seems like a bad idea to say right before christmas that a new version of a device will be released the next year. I am guessing that they will sell fewer now that this is in the public eye. Though, we don't know when the 3G model will come out yet. That's for Steve Jobs to decide...Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Tay Zonday Video
2007-11-29 07:08:00
He's Baaaaack. That's right. Everyone's favorite singer of the infamous Chocolate Rain video has returned. With cooperation from Dr. Pepper, he has made an all new music video. It is a nice remix of all his hits (JOKE, HAHA). Namely Chocolate Rain... This is stooping pretty low for Mr. Zonday, the whole video pretty much makes fun of him. But hey, like he says in the video, "I'm paid a hefty, hefty fee". I can't really blame him. If I was (somehow) an internet superstar, I wouldn't mind shooting a music video for some quick cash. Enjoy the video.Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Hilarious Comic
2007-11-29 06:16:00
I recently came across a hilarious comic on Explosm.net. Cyanide and Happiness is a great comic with stick people. There is some crude comedy, but it still manages to make every comic hilarious. Here's a recent strip that made me laugh. Good stuff. Enjoy :)Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Wii Peripherals For The Murderer In You
2007-11-28 07:31:00
I came across a few Nintendo Wii add-ons that are (to me) pretty funny. The first is a somewhat copy of Nintendo's own Wii Zapper, except the Wii Infrared Laser Magnum Gun is more realistic, and has a little cheat device implemented in it. With the built in, not only can you shoot Wii ducks with a semi-realistic gun, but you can do it in style with a laser pen attached. I think I am missing the point of it, but it seems to me like it would be useless...especially at a price of $20.The second I saw was the Wii Z Sword Remote. With this bad boy you can hack and slash your way through your favorite games, literally. Both these products seem kind of odd to me, but what do I know, I have only played the Wii once. Though, the gun seems like a cool idea, but I mean come on, is the laser guide really necessary?Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Slim PSP Outsells Original
2007-11-27 07:13:00
Not in overall sales of course. But the Slim PSP did reach 1 million sold before the original. The new Slim PSP (aka PSP-2000) sold 1 million units within it's first 2 months of being on sale. While the original PSP (aka PSP-1000) sold 1 million in 2 1/2 months of being on sale. It took just 2 weeks longer than the Slim PSP. This is surprising to me, seeing that the PSP has been out for some time now, I wouldn't think sales would be this big for a 2 month period. Sure, Sony advertised the new PSP, but they really didn't say what was new about it, or that it was even new. I guess people like them some Star Wars branded PSPs...Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Famicom DS Adapter
2007-11-26 07:21:00
I found this to be genius. Lucky DS users in Japan will soon be able to get their hands on the CYBER Familator Lite Famicom adapter for their DS's. The Famicom (Family Computer) was Japans version of our American known NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). What this adapter would allow you do to is play old Famicom games through your DS. The device itself is pretty bulky, but it has to be big enough to have room for a cartridge slot, so the bulk is understandable. Supposedly you can hook up a modification of some kind to get the device to play American NES games, but I'm not quite sure how one would do that. The Familator will be availiable in Japan in December.Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Beowulf Review
2007-11-25 02:49:00
If you are looking for the manliest movie of the year, look no further. Beowulf is an animated movie monster filled with action, adventure, and women. I would say men would overall enjoy this movie more than women. First of all, I have no idea how this got a PG-13 rating. With tons of blood, people getting ripped in half and heads getting chopped off, along with the 5+ minute Angelina Jolie nude scene... This has R written all over it. I'm sure it is only PG-13 due to it being animated, but still, I wouldn't be sending a 10 year old kid to see it. Speaking of the animation, it was AMAZING. Probably one of the best looking animated movies I have ever seen. A few times I caught myself thinking that they were real people. The story was pretty good. A king searches for a hero to rid him of a troll-beast called Grendel. Beowulf comes to help the king with his "curse". And it continues from there. It really is a pretty good movie. Action packed, great voice acting and animation. A must ...

Happy Thanksgiving
2007-11-23 01:51:00
Ah, Thanksgiving . The great American holiday where one can stuff himself full of food and not be judged. For the long weekend I went down to the beach. Nothing like playing Guitar Hero all day, and hanging with my family for a few days. Well, I'm off to go eat me some turkey and mashed potatoes. I would like to wish everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving a happy holiday. Now go prepare for your Black Friday shopping sprees.Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Rock Band Released
2007-11-22 08:17:00
Just thought I would mention it, for those who don't know. The former developers of the Guitar Hero franchise released the much anticipated game Rock Band yesterday. In this game you have the choice of playing guitar, bass guitar, drums or vocals. You have a large song list to choose from, and it is a lot like Guitar Hero in the sense that the gameplay is pretty much the same, except the drum kit and vocals add a lot to the game. I personally am excited about the game because I am a drummer, and though I do love Guitar Hero, it should be fun rocking out on the drums for Rock Band . You can get the whole package (comes with: guitar, microphone, drum kit, and game) for either PS3 or Xbox 360 for ~$170. Yeah, sure it's a lot for a single game, but you get all the cool peripherals. Plus, the ability to create bands online will be awesome.Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Fanciest Keyboard Ever
2007-11-22 03:12:00
This just might be the coolest keyboard of our time, with, I might add, the coolest name. The Optimus Maximus keyboard is packed with features. Each key has a small OLED screen, and it is able to show pretty much whatever you want. It comes with software that allows you to edit what is on each and every key at any given time. You can change what languages the keys are, how the keys are arranged, and whatever else you desire all with the click of a button. You can even add program shortcut icons to the abbundance of spare programmable keys the Optimus has. All I gotta say is "I want one NOW." But of course, this type of technology comes at a price, and a very high one at that. A mere $1500 is what it'll take to buy one of these babys. So it's basically unatainable for us normal folk...Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

New Phones
2007-11-21 07:29:00
Sadly, I did not get a new phone. Yet my parents did. My mom was tired of her 5 year old Motorola that survived through all the AT&T name changes. They got the Motorola KRZR and RAZR. They are well known to most people, so I will not review them. I like them though, very cool and sleek. Good feature set. Solid phones over all. Just thought I would mention this...Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Black Friday Ads
2007-11-20 07:15:00
I thought this whole thing was funny. Black Friday ads from various stores have been leaking out over the past weeks, and for what reason to care about? I do not know. I mean, unless you plan on camping out in front of your local Best Buy or Walmart on Thanksgiving night, these ads do nothing but inform. I can wait till Thursday morning to know where I can get a laptop for $200...I don't see why it's such a big deal that these things are leaked (if you have a reason, please tell me)...But hey, if you want a laptop / printer combo for $230, a 160gb hard drive for $50, or an 8 megapixel camera for $130, Best Buy is the place to go this Friday. LG Voyager
2007-11-19 08:23:00
Yet another iPhone competitor. The LG Voyager is a new smart phone to come out on Verizon's network some time soon. The Voyager will appeal to the person that is interested in buying an iPhone, but likes to text. The phone is like LG's V and enV phones in that you can flip the screen open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as another screen. Also, the phone has 3G EV-DO speeds (which the iPhone does not have), Bluetooth, V Cast w/ TV, full HTML web browsing, expandable memory and more. It may have a few more features than the iPhone, but I doubt people can escape how good the iPhone looks. Though, this is, in my opinion, one of the top competitors. You can pre-order it now for $299 with a 2-year contract. Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Amazon Kindle
2007-11-19 03:21:00
The electronic book has been around for a little while, though none have been remotely successful. Amazon is here to change that. The Kindle is the company's newest product. It will cost $400, and it ships tommorow. With a 6 inch screen, 30 hours of battery life, and a book purchasing service ($9.99 per book) over Sprints EV-DO network, the Kindle might just be the electronic book reader to rule them all.Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Hellgate: London Review
2007-11-18 08:57:00
So I have had Hellgate : London for a week now, and I gotta say, I am really liking it. Though, it does have some issues. I will start by reviewing the gameplay. You can either choose to play Single, or Multiplayer modes. In single player you progress through the story as your character levels up. In multiplayer mode you do the same, but you have the option to group with other players, as well as additional PvP and more content. The first character I started with was a Marksman. As a marksman I use multiple types of guns (rocket launchers, machine guns, shock guns, explosive guns, etc.) By being a marksman you have the option to play in the first person or third person modes. I thought this was very cool, as I have not seen an first person RPG before. The gameplay is very intuitive and fun. Your mouse controls the characters crosshair. It is more of a 3rd person action RPG than your traditional point and click RPG, and I really like that about it. The amount of weapons there are is v...

This is a great mod. This guy modified his Guitar Hero controller so that when he presses a button, a nice light will illuminate it. Heated Keyboard
2007-11-16 07:17:00
I found this very odd. The Warmkeyboard is a keyboard that warms your hands as you use it. I find this to be pretty useless. You have your fingers actually touching the keyboard for maybe a second at a time, if that. Which is not nearly enough time to heat it up the slightest bit. Plus, wouldn't your fingers already be somewhat warm, or at least not cold, from moving them around typing? It is interesting, but in my opinion, ultimately pointless. But hey, if you have the constant trouble of cold fingers, you can pict one up for $50 at Amazon.Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

Black Eee PC
2007-11-16 03:08:00
I have yet to talk about the new Asus Eee PC. So when I saw that a new color was coming out, I decided to. The Eee PC is a linux based computer that is very small. Smaller than your normal run of the mill laptop. With a 7" screen, and dimensions of 8.86" x 6.30" x 0.79-1.26" this baby is made for travel. It also comes with the standard Wireless internet built in, a 4GB or 8GB solid-state hard drive, 512MB of Memory, and integrated video. As well as a customized linux operating system with over 40 pre-installed applications. Seems pretty cool to me, for only $400 this PC is perfect for anyone on the go. You can not get it in black over at Newegg.comThank you for subscribing to my blog!

Nintendo DS Redesign?
2007-11-15 07:25:00
Apparently there has been some information that Nintendo is almost finished with another console in the DS line. Not much more than a year and a half ago the Nintendo DS Lite was released. Having plans for another model so fast seems odd to me. Supposedly the new version will be slimmer with no GBA port, have on-board memory, and have larger screens. Though, the new version may not come out till sales dwindle, it raises the question why so early. I mean, if I got a DS Lite not too long ago I wouldn't be too happy to hear that a newer DS will be hitting shelves in the near future. This will definitely change my mind about think of buying a DS Lite, I'll just wait it out. Hello DS Ultra-Lite :)Thank you for subscribing to my blog!
