PARAGLIDING AT ARMBOL
2008-04-06 11:51:00
PARAGLIDING AT ARMBOL Jump into the great wide open on a soaring flight from a takeoff point on the plateau along the beach north from Arambol in Goa. There's the possibility of landing on any stretch of nearby beach. Test your launches as you take off over a vertical cliff and fly for hours, kept airborne by sea breezes, or go tandem flying if you've never been gliding before. This is also a free site(just don't cross any forbidding fences), so if you've got the equipment, the air's all yours-- and particularly fine from October to March

WINTER TREK TO CHOPTA TUNGNATH CHANDRASHILA PEAK
2008-04-06 11:50:00
WINTER TREK TO CHOPTA TUNGNATH CHANDRASHILA PEAK For the beginner we recommended an easy fourday trek of 14km from chopta (2600m)in Uttarakhand up to the Tungnath temple (3680m) and further on to Chandrashila Peak (3,950m) and back. Chopta is compared to Switzerland for it's alpine beauty and when blanketed by snow in winter, is something of a wonderland. Chandrashila Peak offers stunning 180-degree views of the surrounding Himalayas, while the Tungnath temple is considered very holy and is the highest shrine to Shiva among the Panch kedars. The cold only adds to the area's beauty, making December-January a good time to try the trek; but go around early spiring in February and you'll see the forests of rhododendros paint the mountainside red.

Valentine's Day, Speed dating, Love, Friendship and Relationships...
2008-03-08 18:59:00
Valentine's Day, Speed dating, Love , Friendship and Relationships ...The Valentine's Day is gone but I just read this story today and its worh a read. Here it goes :Hey you!Happy Valentine's Day! Are you guys ready for it? I hope ya have all the cards, chocolates and roses ready. If you're out of ideas, you can get tulips too. Just showing up with a bouquet of flowers--especially red tulips would cheer up her heart... Cheer Up!I was really depressed last week after talking to Jeffrey about his Valentine's Day surprise to Kate. I was reminiscing about Aaliyah when Megan called to help her with the computer. I guess I was looking really depressed and more quiet than normal, so she asked me what the matter was. I told her about how I used to plan stuff for Aaliyah too and how I really miss her. Megan looked helpless. We talked about my date with the redhead and how it went so horribly wrong. Sometimes I think I'm the one who's doing all the wrong moves. Maybe I'm just oblivious ...

Latest top music hits and how and where to find them....
2008-03-04 13:09:00
What do do when you get bored of your music collection or feel that you are missing on the latest top music? This happens to me quite often and I really waste a lot of time digging here and there in search of something good. Lately I found this trick(maybe its dumb but it's good enough for my need ;)) that works: -Once in a while or whenever I feel the need I do a google search for "top hit music of the month" . -Scan through the result and pick one that looks good to you, once you go through it you will get an idea about what's good and what's not. -Thats all, you have the list of the top latest music hits that you can source from wherever you want. -I found this one really easy to use site www.musicdumper.com that comes up with almost everything and gives an option to listen online or download for free but I would always suggest to buy the original music. Original is legal and it gives the best quality you expect. Here is the list of top 40 hit music I found recently on wor...

Heroku for RAILS, everything you ever wanted
2008-03-02 18:16:00
It feels like sitting on top of the web with Heroku (www.heroku.com). Everything I ever wanted that would ease my pain of developing and deploying my RAILs app is all built in here. After you get on to Heroku, all your nightmares of developing a RAIL application on a local box, choice of IDE for development, portability to the hosting server and the scary thoughts of failed deployment will all disappear.Lets talk about a few features that got me so excited about Heroku:-Your application is live on the internet from the moment you create it or import it from somewhere else.(off course you have the option to keep it completely private, share with a few you want to or go it publicly open to everyone)-With full Ruby environment you will never have anything missing, every ruby you want to run will run on Heroku.-An awesome, inbuilt development environment. You wont need anything else ever.-Rails console, if you want it to do those console things that you would generally do when you are d...

Watch this, do whatever it takes
2008-02-26 15:14:00
What would you say to the world if you knew that this is the last chance that you have got to share everything that you want the world to know. If you knew that you have only a month or two left before you will say your final goodbye to the world. Yes, this was the last lecture of Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch and he knew that he had only a few days left of his life as he was about to die from pancreatic cancer. I don't want to try to interpret and misinterpret his words, so go ahead, watch this video and see for yourslef what you can learn from it. If you can't stop those few drops of tears from your eyes, it's ok, it shows that you are still alive. Thanks Abbas for sharing this.
