Linkachi is another service that will shorten your links. They maintain a top ten list of the most used links. Currently the service gives you a randomly generated short URL, soon they say you can make your own personalized links. They will also let you track the stats of your links soon as well.

Blockstar is a service that has a website builder and hosting. There is both a free and paid version of Blockstar. With Blockstar you can make webpages, upload pictures, build photo galleries, and put documents online. With the free version you get 50MB of storage and 1GB of bandwidth. There is no need to know HTML because their website builder does it for you. You have to download their software to create your site. Unfortunately you get domains like this http://sites.blockstar.com/username and their are some ads.

YouTube on your iPod for free

With these two freeware programs one for Mac and one for Windows you can easily get YouTube videos on to your iPod . The Windows version is called iTube and the Mac version is PodTube. In iTube (Windows) you paste the video URL into iTube and it then downloads the video, converts it, and adds it to your iTunes library. In PodTube (Mac) you must browse in Safari and one click will download the video, convert it, and add to your iTunes library as well. Both of these are very easy to use and also very helpful when you want to get a YouTube video on your iPod without any hassle.

SNIPPit is a service that allows you to create little yellow post-it note looking things that you can place anywhere on your personal page. You just open a new "snipp" to create a new note. You can tag each Snipp and retrieve them through your tag cloud. The tag cloud idea is perfect so you can easily retrieve your snipps with that tag.

Webwag Customizable Homepage

Webwag is a new "customizable homepage" site. Webwag allows you to view your inbox, search various search engines and wikipedia, view the weather, save bookmarks, and read RSS feeds of any site you wish in little modules that are spread across the page. You can change the location of the different modules however you want. This is pretty cool but there are other websites that allow you to do the same exact thing as Webwag such as Netvibes and Page flakes. My personal favorite is Netvibes because it seems to look the best and be more organized than the other two. So which do you like best if any?

The HiPAD II weighs just 2.9 pounds (if you ask me it looks like an Etch A Sketch) and has Windows XP Tablet PC Edition and Windows CE 5.0. The HiPAD II has a 10.4 inch touch screen display, a 20GB HDD, 256MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, PCMIA and CF slots. Pricing and availability is not known yet.

USB Geek is selling this cheap USB MP3 player and card reader for $15. You use a SD/MMC memory card to upload you MP3 format audio to the device. The card reader supports SD/MMC also. It only uses 1 AAA battery which is nice and lasts for 10 hours of playing time. This would be nice if you just wanted a cheap MP3 player for a trip or something like that.
