The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

I watched it yesterday. The movie itself was quite good. It had a kind of eerie atmosphere. Some scenes were really disgusting, but that´s what I like about horror movies. It´s one of those movies you wanna jump into and kick the bad guy´s ass. Almost everything in this movie is perfect - were it not for the end... What did the director of this movie think when letting Jordana Brewster die? Did he think at all? It was the most disappointing end I´ve ever seen. I just came across this picture of "American Psycho" showing Christian Bale with a quite muscular body. And I wondered how he managed to get so slim for "The Machinist" which came out 4 years later?I remember him saying "I believe in taking care of myself, in abalanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In themorning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousandnow." And 4 years later he looks like close-to-death.Seems like these were just some words in the script or he quickly changed his opinion about body and health. In Nuremberg, Germany it´s "Fantasy Filmfest"-time again. Tonight I´m going to watch "Fido". It´s a movie about "domesticated" zombies. This caught my attention? What a cool idea for a zombie movie is that?! I read a review about this movie and if someone asked me to explain what it´s about or what you could compare it with, then I´d say: Romero, Dawn of the Dead, Pleasantville, Shaun of the Dead.In this review I also stumbled over a word I´ve never heard before... What else do you need than a large 4" TFT LCD Display (16:9 Wide) that plays AVI, DivX, XviD, WMV, ASF, MP3, WMA and OGG files? Another feature other players don´t have is the ability to record from TV, VCR or a camcorder. Adobe to release Media Player (end of 2007)

Adobe is about to bring out a new and very good looking media player. It´s like a kind of browser for your flash files. And this is what it actually specializes in - flash movies. You can stream, download, manage, play and monetize your flash files. You can also tag and rate them if you like. The adobe media player is also said to be able to play HD resolution content which makes it a very interesting and future-oriented player. Unfortunately we´ll have to wait a few months until they release it. Adobe said they will release it before the end of 2007. Save Flash Movies to Your HDD

I recently found out a method to save flash movies à la cinecast. If you have firefox, then just download the downthemall-add-on and install it. Then go to one of the movie websites and test it. Right-click anywhere on the page and then select the downthemall-icon. Then there should be 2 options. "Links" and "graphics and objects" or something like that. Go to grahics and objects and see if there´s a file with for example a vlc-player-icon (depends on what player you use). If it´s there then you just have to uncheck the other download possibilites and select a target folder. It won´t work with every video but at least with some of them. I tried it on cinecast.us - maybe it´ll work on other movie-sites as well. I think it´s a nice alternative if "youtubegrabber" or "keepvid" don´t work.Subscribe to *chilli*movies* via
