Ifbyphone App To Enable Voice Message Broadcasting

Ifbyphone has announced that they will release what they call a "voice broadcast" application through Apple's iPhone App Store in July. The application will give users the ability to "transmit" voice messages to multiple recipients simultaneously. They have also announced the release of a new Voice Broadcast Application Programming Interface (API), which developers will be able to use to integrate voice broadcasting functionality into their own applications. read more

Blogger and Starbucks addict Dave Zatz has word that the free AT&T Wi-Fi for 3G laptop card owners we've heard about may be launching tomorrow. While sitting at his local Starbucks, the manager, which he had questioned in the past, allegedly came up and told him that the system had been put in place and tested, and will most likely be ready for launch on it's pre-planned launch date, June 3rd. O2 Fires Staff After iPhone Discount Scam

O2 O2 has fired half a dozen employees for purchasing iPhones at staff discount and then selling them for profit.After using generous discounts of 20% or more, staff have sold on the phones on eBay, according to a company source.'It is actually nothing new that staff in mobile phone shops have supplemented income with this abusive perk,' said one industry source. 'What is fresh is that O2 is cracking down on the practice in a sign that mobile firms are no longer prepared to turn a blind eye. The iPhone is an iconic product for O2 and it makes sense to start there, but I predict that we will see this spread across the sector. We have seen quite a few iPhone softwares which give users access to the iPhone's file system. We have seen solutions such as SSH server and WinSCP for the technically inclined but available for free or Megaphone for Mac users and TouchCopy for Windows users which have good user interface but are available for a one-time-fee. There is some good news for Windows users, as they now use a software called iPhoneBrowser which not only has a good user interface but is also available for free.
