Viagogo
2008-01-31 17:29:00 Have you ever wanted to go to this Ricky Martin concert in London and didn't want to take the risk of finding the Tickets sold out once you arrive there? We generally book rooms in hotels abroad via websites. Similarly European site Viagogo has this online booking concept of buying and selling Concert Tickets and Sports Tickets. Personally, I'd love the Monaco Grand Prix tour. Covering four days, it provides us the unique Monacoesque ring side view of the street circuit. You can register and sell your tickets and/or buy tickets. You'll need to provide Card/Bank Account details to minimize fraud. To buy tickets, just search o look into your preferred category and pick one. Most major cards, PayPal, iDeal is accepted online. The tickets are guaranteed to be shipped before the date of the event. They even have art and theater tickets. From time to time, they do offer some tickets whose exclusive sale rights are with Viagogo. Viagogo also takes care of the shipping by providing yo...

Bill Gate's Fur Elise?
2007-12-02 06:17:00 The next time you hear "Fur Elise" or "It's a small small world" out of your CPU enclosure, you might be having a problem with the CPU fan/voltages. A Microsoft Knowledge Base article states the following:" During normal operation or in Safe mode, your computer may play "Fur Elise" or "It's a Small, Small World" seemingly at random. This is an indication sent to the PC speaker from the computer's BIOS that the CPU fan is failing or has failed, or that the power supply voltages have drifted out of tolerance. This is a design feature of a detection circuit and system BIOSes developed by Award/Unicore from 1997 on."Wow. May be I'll screw the CPU up just to verify it.. But I dont understand one thing.. Why "Fur Elise" or "It's a small small world"? Why not Beethoven's 9th symphony: Ode to Joy or even Scooby Dooby Doo for that matter!! Orangeman Burns - Sriram Sridharan's Blog. Sweeney Todd
2007-11-29 13:05:00 Director Tim Burton’s latest film on revenge “Sweeney Todd ” featuring Johnny Depp is poised to hit the Theatres on December 21st. The idea of relishing a revenge filled thriller on the shortest day of the year certainly appeals to me. In the first half of the movie, Johnny Depp is Benjamin Barker a barber in England. He’s married to Lucy and has a daughter named Johanna, whom he dearly loves. He is sent to prison in Australia by a Judge with ulterior motives.Johnny returns from Australia [with the help of a sailor], a changed man and with revenge boiling in his blood for the man and for the society which separated him from his family. He sets up a barber shop above Mrs. Lovett’s pie shop [which is notorious for it’s ill tasting pies] on Fleet Street. With Mrs. Lovett’s help, he extracts revenge on all the persons who wronged him and his family and is known as the Demon Barber of the Fleet Street. This he does in the hopes of being reunited with his daughter Johanna who...

Digital Cameras
2007-11-26 13:18:00 Back in the mid 80’s, around the time my parents were married, B/W cameras were all people had. Color cams were expensive and you had to be rich to pay for the recurring cost of film and development. I remember my first camera. It was a 35 mm Auto Focus, point and shoot that I got in 2001-2002. I took it to my first trip to Mysore-Bangalore-Ooty with my class mates and loved it. Then my cousin Vidya got me a superb Vivitar auto that I still have. It was amazing and I always used 400 ASA Kodak Max rolls. Then dad recently bought a Nikon L2 as a replacement for his aging Yashica SLR. I’m in love with the Nikon series of Digital Cams. I’d say that they offer pro quality at a low end price. Optics and picture quality are simply superb. Though there’s lil’ bit of noise in the pictures, the UI is splendid and intuitive. The cam I’d love to own some day will probably be from the Canon EOS series or from the Nikon D series. They offer unparalleled performance and a superb ability... Guitar
2007-11-26 13:17:00 Just saw an Air-Guitar . Apparently works by sending an IR ray from the handle. As you play the chords or even strum it, the IR ray is broken and sound is played. The actual tech specs are sketchy but I can say that they retail for about $30. They are available at most online stores so just Google for it. I’ve been looking for an electric so I think I’ll get a good one this week. Any brands I should watch out for? Any good shops with cheap prices for guitars in Chennai? Darkyria.com
2007-11-25 10:42:00 Speaking of dating sites, here’s one I found. The Darkyria.com site caters almost exclusively for those into stuff like Goth, darkness, heavy metal, alt styles and extreme lifestyles. The site is pretty much aimed at those into the above mentioned stuff. The site’s home page is dark and neatly designed. It displays the users currently online, a small intro about the site, top members of either gender, regular menu buttons like search, matches, forums and a video chat button.Registration is quite simple and quick. I really liked the metal hand animation that is displayed when you make a mistake filling up a form field. Basic registration is free and the Imperial registration is about 10 bucks a month and you get 2 roses free. The hope page after you login is dark and rich in details. You get to fill up basic details about you. You can chat with online members as soon as your account is approved. You can search people according to the standard demographics like age, sex, location ...

DateHookup.com
2007-11-24 13:17:00 We all have read about dating scams. They say they are free but they ask for payment when you try to communicate with other members. But Date Hookup is quite genuine and good. It has a basic search engine that gives you the members of a particular sex or country or age-group or distance from your city. The new and unique feature about the site is the forum. Forums are inherently social and easily used for communication. The forum allows the users to chat with each other about a wide variety of topics from their lives to politics or even food. Though the number of countries recogonized are limited, I find this site/forum to be a experience in online dating and would definitely recommend it to others.dating forumsOrangeman Burns - Sriram Sridharan's Blog. 2007-11-21 12:03:00 I'm gonna be broke if I keep spending this way. Just bought a mini R/C[remote controlled] airplane called "aero soarer" at Play-Asia for $18. They had free shipping via Airmail to India, so was tempted. They have a decent R/C selection. Then I bought a telephoto lens attachment for my Nokia 6600 and a USB powered lamp at vavolo.com and a Swarovski crystal pendant for my sister at Yes-Asia. Orangeman Burns - Sriram Sridharan's Blog. Life
2007-11-06 04:30:00 Ok guys. One month into my hols and my project isn’t exactly looking good. The guy at United Telecom says that he’s having errors with the project and he’s trying to push me a project with GPS which I don’t really want. I’ve been wasting my time like a degenerate at Las Vegas. At least my computer and ‘Net hasn’t broken down. My CD/DVD combo has been throwing up errors galore. A quick Google showed that I needed to be using an 80 wire ultra dma cable not a 40 wire one. Still waiting for the replacement. On the bright side, just 100 bucks more to get the HK MP5K [PDW]. It is small, fires tight groups at say 300fps-350fps. It costs 70 bucks. The bullets and battery upgrade comes to another 30-35 and the shipping is a 100 bucks more. So effectively I just made the shipping costs. Can you believe it?? Shipping from Hong Kong to India > Shipping from Hong Kong to US. US is just 60 bucks. I’m must be the only bloke here paying double for an airsoft gun. Cheers and se ya la... More About: Life |
