Sorry for the lack of posts readers!
2008-03-20 14:06:00 Sorry everyone, the Leaving Cert is ahead of me and I just havent been able to make any posts in the past few months. But I will soon be up and running again in the next 2 months max. Just a few updates: A few things have changed since my last posts. I bought myself a new motorbike on the 23rd of Febuary that needs a bit of work. Im now close enough to hearing the engine purr. I have a few sim cards in the post for me for use on the site Another300.com . Despite my lack of updating on that site, it hasnt stopped people from texting away. The 300 txts that it allows to send at the moment [cause I only have one sim card… :(] are being used within the first 10 days of the month. Thats not bad. It will be interesting to see how 3000 texts last for the site within a month. Despite the lack of posting on the blog, it hasnt stopped passer-bys from dropping in and I appreciate that! Cheers, Dave Please consider buying me a Beer Share This More About: Readers , Posts , Lack
2GB MMC bought for my Phone today
2007-11-01 01:11:00 Bought myself a 2GB card today on eBay for my mobile phone. Quite the business at just 12 euro inc. postage and packaging… I really can’t go wrong. EBay is becoming a real bargain website. Even things like Xbox Live for the 360 are dirt cheap. Sellers from all around the world are also able to interact with each other and in turn this gives us, the buyers, the best prices around. Surround Sound in my New Room
2007-10-30 12:48:00 I Love it. I just got my surround sound system set up in my room. Although, its not quite surround sound just yet. I only have 2 speakers connected to it with the Amp. Reason for this is because there’s loads to be done to my new room so I have to wait. The sound is beautiful and I paid half price off of eBay - Grand little system actually. Sound is great and the bass is heaven :P I would reccommend surround sound to anybody who was into watching movies or listening to good quality music on their computer. This is what I have: Please consider buying me a Beer Share This More About: Surround , Room , Surround Sound
Gaming
2007-10-29 11:22:00 I just can’t get away from it. I love every second that I dedicate to my 360. It’s fun is endless when you have your mates around and the games have so much in them to offer; what about Halo 3? No other console offers Halo 3 except Xbox 360 :P The three major world consoles, the Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 will all be fighting for the best seller for Christmas so it’s going to be brilliant for us because if either company are going to try and boost sails; the prices are going to have to come down. If the consoles go down, hopefully the games to go with it will come down also. To date, the Nintendo Wii is ahead with sails. Xbox 360 trails behind, with not much different. Ps3 then follows last. Gaming is no longer a hobby for children, adults have joined in on the craic that gaming has to offer. Halo 3 earned 120 million euro on its first day release. Thats more than that of Pirates of the Carribean 2 [€96 million], Shrek 3[€86 million] and Spiderman 3 [€107 million]...
MMORPG - The latest industry
2007-10-29 00:50:00 Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing [MMORPG ] games are scattering across the internet everyday now. The most popular and played MMORPG is World of Warcraft with about 9 million players worldwide. MMORPG games have become so popular that people have started to pay for extra features for their games. The industry is growing massively every year and is expected to be worth about $4 Billion USD dollars by the end of 2008; a lot of money for products that people download on the net for their game fun or even gaming habits… [We all know how addictive World of Warcraft can be ;=)] A major company called GameGoods specializes in these products. The products are for World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Lord of the Rings, Van Guard and Eve. The wow gold page offers various amounts of gold to chose from for different prices. They are all downloadable via their fast reliable server. Gold for the MMORPG games are their main product. The prices are said to be very competitive but I’d st... More About: Industry

I was accepted at PayPerPost!
2007-10-28 23:44:00 The day has finally come. I have been waiting to be accepted into this program for a long time now and it has finally happened! I hope that this program will help me make some money! I signed up because I always wanted to earn money by doing something that I truly love – Blogging. I found the program through my good friend Madringo. [It’s definitely worth checking out his blog] Anyway, the program is set up into 2 main parts: a PPP Marketplace and PPP Direct. PPP Marketplace is where you go to look for available opportunities that you can accept. All opportunities open to you are listed there and you can pick and chose which one you would like to do. PPP Direct is a program that enables you to be asked by advertisers to write about a product. You don’t have to go running looking for opportunities – advertisers can find you. This is very useful for both advertisers and bloggers in a way that you can interact with the advertiser and they can communicate with you persona... More About: Payperpost

TV or Internet?
2007-10-19 00:45:00 I suppose im not the only one who uses a computer more than a television for entertainment. There is only one programme on television that I watch every week and thats Prison Break - thats it. I don’t watch tv much at all; if i’m bored I will turn on my PC and blog away. I dont think that im the only person like this either - ever since Bebo and MySpace came along; PC has been the better choice - especially for teenagers. Anyone else in the same boat? You can save lots of dollars in the space of minutes by taking coupon codes off of here and using them at checkout. You can’t go wrong with this service as its completely free. Why buy branded RAM?
2007-10-11 23:56:00 Well, from what I have been told from a computer sales person whom runs their own company, there are many reasons why you should NOT buy unbranded RAM for your computer. Where does unbranded RAM come from? Unbranded RAM comes from all the major RAM companies themselves like Kingston and Crucial. The life time guarantee that comes with RAM chips means that all RAM must be tested before being put on the shelves for sale. All the RAM chips that do not past the warranty test are thrown out. Employees [noramally from Hong Kong because most IT companies are based there] then take the chips home and try to re-solder the faulty plates on the side of the RAM pieces; replacing the individual faulty parts from one unit with working parts from another - making one working unit. So, whats wrong with that? These RAM parts are not tested and have been homemade. They do not come with a guarantee and can sizzle at any time - leaving you with no leg to stand on. When you buy branded RAM you get the l...
Plans for Vista
2007-10-10 23:38:00 I have been thinking lately of updating my OS to Windows Vista . I think that it is time to move on. Although not all the drivers and programs are fully functional with Vista yet, I realised that I don’t use many peripherals with my Operating System. The only thing that I really use with my computer is my browser [Firefox of course :P], designing app CS2, JetAudio, my music player and my printer, which is outdated anyway. So, I have decided to move on. I am going to buy the Vista in the next 2 weeks. I will need a RAM upgrade though; seemingly my 512MB Kingston RAM just isn’t enough for Vista! Ebay here I come! Windows Live Writer!
2007-10-05 22:35:00 Hello to all. I stumbled upon a program called Windows Live Writer . It’s a program that you use to write up posts to your blog and I’m using it now. Seems quite nice and useful; a nice change to the default layout that I have to stare at when writing up my posts. The tables ability is nice. You can move tables about very easily and it’s a nice addition to the capabilities list. I always wondered how blogs used tables to set image locations on a blog (you know they way they put images on the top left corner with text beside them) and now I know. Of course it was the tables but I didn’t know how to edit the HTML code myself and do it - now I can do it manually. The software is currently in BETA and can be found here to download free of charge. Blogosphere and my gains
2007-10-04 01:24:00 I have to say that through the 2 or 3 weeks of me using the Blogosphere widget on my blog; I think that i got an extra 3 clicks to my website. I have not found it useful in any sense to my blog and unless things change with it in the coming few days, I will be forced to take it down from my blog permanently. I don’t see the point in taking up my blog with ads if there’s nothing in it for me; I show my ads to get money; I show Blogosphere widget to gain traffic. I AM gaining money [well, some anyway] with my ads and I’m not gaining traffic with Blogosphere… I think its time to move on. Do you gain any traffic with your Blogosphere widget? I found the SEO ToolBar!
2007-10-03 21:30:00 Hi everyone, I found the SEO toolbar. For those of you who don’t remember my ramblings on about a piece of software called such, see here. The software is safe to download and all is good. I like it. Come on lads, ChipIn
2007-10-02 02:01:00 I stumbled upon ChipIn.com there today. It’s a site all about setting goals and letting other people help you buy donating. So; I set mine up in order to be able to buy a page off of Million Dollar Wiki. Not bad eh? :D Be as generous as you can lads: I set this up as a joke but i’ve just realised that if done correct this could work. OK, I will show a tab or text link for anybody on this site for ONE WHOLE YEAR, if they donate 5 dollars or more. That sounds fair doesn’t it? The money received will be spent on a MillionDollarWiki page. Please consider buying me a Beer Share This

Moving Away from StatCounter…
2007-09-30 13:10:00 Im annoyed to say the least… I was just on my new MyBlogLog.com profile and it says in my stats that yesterday I had 109 page views and 7 readers. It’s not those stats that i’m annoyed about; infact im fairly happy with those stats because my blog is only new and i’ve only started updating it lately. To get to whats annoying me: StatCounter says that I only had 11 page views yesterday. There’s a REALLY big difference between 109 and 11 page views. Thats a 90% loss in true stats. So, as you guessed, im going to pull away from StatCounter. I don’t see the point in sticking with a stat counting service that doesnt deliver accurate stats. Check it out yourself and see if you are getting the wrong stats with StatCounter. Please consider buying me a Beer Share This More About: Moving
New site Another300.com launching soon…
2007-09-29 17:06:00 I’ve decided to launch a new site of mine Another300.com in the coming 2 weeks. I have been working on it lately and it seems that it will be a big hit when it finally launches. I plan to advertise it with Yahoo! and Google. With all the advertising, im sure to grab loads of visitors. With the visitors coming in, it will be easy for me to profit from the traffic with the likes of Adsense and this blog. If i get the traffic to this blog, i will get more money for a sponsoured post at PayPerPost. The SMS applet is designed to connect to the webtexts on a providers website and use different numbers and passwords that you provide to send the messages. Easy! I thank Donut at aft.donutsoft.net for the script!! The site is nice, easy to read and easy to navigate. By having the small, easy to use text box applet on the homepage, im sure to grab passer by’s attention easily. Hopefully things will work out according to plan. BluffBot - The Next Gen of Poker Bots
2007-09-27 21:03:00 Well we’ve all seen and heard of these so called poker bots in action. As a lover of poker myself, I have seen and used poker bot programs on the internet. By far, the best I have seen for limit poker is the BluffBot 1.0, available for download at http://www.bluffbot.com The plugin is easily used with instructions provided with the download. The plugin is for Poke r Academy Pro 2.5. It is currently only usuable in limit poker but a no-limit version is being developed at the moment, v2.0. The Bluff bot is a bot used to give bluffs against weaker players as well as keep itself in the clear from the stronger players. Its the perfect tool at the table for succession! http://www.bluffbot.com Please consider buying me a Beer Share This More About: Bots
Surround Sound

I’ve added BlogRush
2007-09-25 02:48:00 I noticed at Madringo’s blog a post about a site called Blogrush. It looks like a nice nifty piece of coding that helps generate traffic for your website in an easy way. Every time you show the widget, it counts as one view and your ad will show in the widget once on someone else’s site. Basically, if little Timmy views 25 pages on this blog, the widget counts those 25 page loads and will show my little link in the widget on someone else’s site. Easy. Even better; if someone registers to the BlogRush site through a referral, it counts up their page loads and gives you credit for them too! And thats up to 10 generations of blog signups! You cant go wrong really. If I dont see any changes i will remove the widget but there’s no harm in giving it a shot! Wish me luck and sure check it out yourself.
